Interesting to see someone 'reviewing the reviewers'. It's a noble cause, and could help people get a rounded overview of all the opinions and quality of writing out there in the blogosphere. Watching with interest...
Thanks mate, and Happy New Year...
As it says in the article, backing up the HDD isn't an issue and is fully supported on the PS4. This is all about copying media files on to the PS4 from an external HDD. The PS4 fully supports backing up game data ready for an upgrade.
Upgrading your PS3 or PS4 HDD according to Sony's instructions won't invalidate your warranty.
As it says in the article, backing up the data isn't an issue.
The lack of HDD support is with regards to copying media files to the PS4. The PS4 still allows backing up game data to a USB device.
Although there aren't a huge number of locations, each has random elements every time you play that keep them fresh. Other than that, you can expect almost RPG amounts of depth in the weapons, gadgets, skills, clothing and other items.
It's a lot deeper than the first PayDay - a lot. Huge array of RPG-style elements. Lots of fun to play too, but you really need to work out strategies before you just head in or it turns ugly real quick!
Well said - bubbles for you...
Maybe you guys should read the article. It is saying the Vita is NOT dead, and refuting many of those 'is dead' articles.
Worth a read, not just a comment here at N4G without reading...
I wish it were that simple. What if the Vita does so badly that Sony can't support the platform any longer? Sure, you'll be enjoying it, but a year later you'll have no games to play.
This article is worth reading properly - explains the future of the console well and why owners should have hope that the future of the Vita is bright. A good read...
Excellent review, and looks like a really interesting title...
I had Ivy in mind when I saw the title too... Damn, I have Ivy on my mind most of the day if I'm honest... lol
Totally agree with the Vita synopsis in this article - well written and thought-out throughout...
It was. It really, really was... :-)
John Bishop is super-funny. I do get distracted by his ridiculous 'fridge door' teeth though... ;)
If Sony keep getting hit like this and lose big sums of money, they'll do what every big company does to save themselves. They will look at their Profit & Loss sheets for the biggest expense and make cuts.
Which line on the P&L is always the biggest? Salaries.
Good people, many of whom may have started out in the same way as these spineless hackers, but who had the balls to put their talent to proper use and 'tread the right path', will lo...
Good to finally have this launch in Europe. Wonder why it took so long?
Great review. Nice to see some balance, rather than just a love-or-hate-fest.
There are just so many companies you've never heard of before that help deliver the games you play today. Companies like Side keep the games industry moving, and yet never get the plaudits or attention they deserve.
And although - as you can read - I'm clearly not a big fan (or I'd know all the names of the characters), I do play a lot of games. This was immersive from the outset. It might even make me go check out more in the Naruto universe...
