Since I use my phone for the camera (photos) more than I do for taking video, it doesn't worry me.
The ability to stream and copy photos and music to the PS3 wirelessly is everything I need right now, and those extra features they're delivering in February and later in the year are just plus points...
I learn something new every day - thanks for that. Wasn't made aware of the option and, I'll admit, I didn't go looking too hard for it ;-)
The touchpad was calibrated, and as the review says the feature works fine. In fact, we point out that for certain websites, it is better than using the d-pad (which is supposed to be a shortcut, hopping from hyperlink to hyperlink).
Calibration doesn't change the speed of the mouse though - an option to control that would be nice as my personal preference would be to make it faster.
Looks like a lot of fun - wish it were out in the UK... :-(
MGS4 or LBP... I'm going to have to go think about this...
..we do still have GOTY and the Dev's Choice awards to announce tomorrow.
Maybe Uncharted will win - maybe not.
What would your choice be if Uncharted wasn't getting either of those?
...we're not writing about 'failure' in the article.
Read it (since a lot of work went into it and it's not the usual yada-yada) and you'll understand...
...see comment 4.1 for the answer...
About 50 milliletres. And even then they wanted more...
Oh - sorry - you meant the survey.
The exact number eludes me, but it was in the thousands, so certainly big enough for a representative sample...
Then don't use 'em?
...and there's no reason to think PS3 MMOs will be any different, I guess; especially with the success of DLC on the platform.
...but how long will it be before the ad providers realise that they're not generating enough revenue from in-game advertising and pull the money out?
I think subscription or micro-transactions are the way to go... but go fill out the survey so your voice is heard.
I'm still undecided. LBP is brilliant, I've had the most value out of Burnout Paradise and MGS 4 was 'epic'.
It'll be interesting when we announce the results in mid-December...
Right now I'm having to grab my massive bluetooth keyboard and balance it on my knees whilst somehow still controlling my character with the DS3.
There's nothing remotely ergonmic about that setup! The wireless keypad is the answer, without a doubt.
You just have to look at the way Criterion have continued to develop and change Burnout Paradise over the course of 2008 to realise that DLC is a brilliant way for companies to ensure their games are played for a long time span, and that gamers get more for their money.
Sure, paid-for DLC is coming from Criterion, but this has all been free to this point.
DLC allows developers to get a game out now to market and then add-on, rather than spending another year squeezin...
...of your checklist - having played the game through for the review:
Graphics - better. More destructible environments. Better lighting.
Gameplay - The same, but with better enemy AI.
Story - very similar to COD4, but does require you to not have 'flashback-itis'. If you don't like stories that hop around across the years, you won't like this.
Online Multiplayer - The same assured experience.
Additional points: Co-op mode for the first time in the ...
We put it out to the whole team, and these are the nominations they came up with.
Despite the lack of Kojima Productions in the nominations for Best Dev, there are several mentions for MGS4 coming in the following days (including GOTY) so keep checking back and vote for your favourite.
We reported this weeks ago - http://www.n4g.com/NewsPend...
And it has since been covered three times in the last four days at N4G.

Why are these duplicates being cleared?
Our apologies to all. We got it wrong, but let us explain.
The PR we received had no PSN pricing. Also, when calling EA to ask if the 10 packs were coming to Xbox 360 only they said yes. We can't legislate for bad information, but we can put our hands up and say 'sorry' when we get it wrong.
Depending on your plan, the C905 is available free of charge in the UK.
On 3, for example, you can get it on a £27 per month contract.
