i still wish that it would be a ps3 title, exclusive or not. I'm just not a big fan of portable games. but if anyone could make a game id like for the psp, its him.
Actually, what is it with japanese developers liking portable games so much? Dragon quest 9, and peace walker both being portable exclusives. That pisses me off.
Boosts in single player = ok.
Boosts in multiplayer = load of crap
a lot of Chinese players are playing on Taiwan servers, or other Asian servers. I don't know how many people exactly, but it is being done.
i would say mass effect 2 is much more anticipated then odst. won't sell as well, but it surely makes news better then odst. really i haven't seen any buzz about odst. hell I forgot it existed. L4D2, ME2, Forza 3, every day there's something to read about that game. Odst - not so much.
Its a weird one, but i'm sick of shooters so bring on any other genre and i'll be happy.
Pretty much everyone interested in this game has some sort of connection. it can be 28.8kbs , thats all you need. the internet connection causes no lag either.

Why? most people have dsl nowadays, which is connected 24/7. All this does is limit piracy. No negative effects for 90-95% of buyers.
they want to start making a profit soon. they have a strong number of consoles sold already, and years to wait to drop the price. Sony expects the ps3 to last ten years, so obviously a price drop isn't so urgent to them.

He didn't need to point that out, and he certainly shouldn't of said that the ps3 doesn't have many exclusives. Just leave it be. Maybe people notice but who cares? Just say later that so far ps3 exclusives have ended well.
The only bad thing about the article was what he said. it was a good entertaining read, but then he kind of made it a ps3 vs. 360 thing.
you know that a game being non-linear has nothing to do with it being a sandbox game right?
no they shouldn't have. every ps3 has a hard drive means developer can utilize them. its better for every one. plus hard drives are cheap. it costs practically nothing to add a 20gb to a console.
Plus 3 skus is too many. with 2 you can compare side to side. with 3 it becomes harder to compare for say a grandma looking for a gift for her grandson or something like that.
Why can't they just make it a demo mode. It shows you the correct way to do it, then you repeat it. Monkey see monkey do. Then at least you still have to play the game.
Ive used both, and i can honestly say that neither one is better than the other. Sure xbox live has a few more features, but personally, i've never used them, nor has any of my friends that use xbox live.
Cross game invites? - still got to get up and put a different disk in. Cross voice chat? - i have a phone. more people on live with headsets? - more a-holes on live with headsets.
The only difference is that one is worth it, one isn't. Oh and one has advertisements...
those "accelerators" are pretty stupid. just a way to make a quick buck off people's impatience, and takes away a skill from people who are good at recruiting. And i think that it should come with more than 12 slots from the get go. create-a-team was in Ncaa before, and honestly, team builder isn't such a big advancement over what it was before.
If someone stole something that you worked hard on, and you did everything you could to stop it, does that really make you greedy?
Blizzards not a greedy company, if they were, we'd have diablo 5 by now.
if anything the 60gb is the most reliable. mines 2 years old now, and the only problem I've ever had was my fault. i only hear problem about 40gbs, but the ps3 is just a reliable machine in general.
