Seeing as no one noticed that halo 3 ran sub720p until people mentioned it, isn't it safe to say that it really doesn't matter? Plenty of great looking game this gen have been sub720p, and no one notices until the guys at neoforum or whatever makes a thread about it.
The ibm guy is not going to say one of his projects are worse then the other, their like kids in a sense. Besides, just because you designed something, doesn't mean you know it the best. I'm sure game makers who have worked with the cell for years now now how powerful it is in regards to games than he would.

building a computer isn't as simple as some make it out to be. You need to be very knowledgeable about every piece inside your computer, know where every wire goes, stuff like that. A lot can go wrong in that process. So building a pc isn't always a realistic option for everyone.
But i agree with you that pc gaming isn't as expensive as some make it out to be.

It a very good game, my most played online game this gen. i would say it could be in the top 30.

Personally, Mass Effect is my least favorite game this gen. I'd rather play vampire rain for gods sake. the dialog system is a major eh, the character's are run of the mill, and the combat sucks ass (major ass suckage). but everyone i know loves this game. why? i must be missing something.
The PSN is Sony's property. They can decide what you're allowed to say on it. Thats part of the first amendment. Freedom of speech doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want wherever you want. Its gives you the right to have your opinion and never be persecuted by having that opinion. it does not give you the right to share it without persecution.

If the 360 results in an overall profit, then they will continue. If it doesn't, maybe they give it one more shot or call it quits. So far gaming hasn't been very good to them in money speak. But thats more because they just too reckless in spending - I mean $50 million dollar for exclusive dlc? Theres some waste right there.
All MS needs to find profit in gaming is a little common sense and out a lock on the wallet. Focus on profit, not eliminating the competition.
