Thats got to be the worst review of a game ever. What a b!tch.
Why doe every patent infringement case seem to involve a company from texas?
it might be a major burden to some people. you act like 50 bucks is nothing. well it is. especially when the ps3 and pc offer free online gaming just as good (and in the pc's case, much better.)
And just because you know its coming doesn't make it cheaper.
A company is only going to let your game on their service if they think it will sell. If Sony doesn't think your game will be profitable, they won't help you out on it. It doesn't mean they aren't ever going to help an indie developer, the developer just has to have a good idea that has a shot of making money. Maybe Sony thought these guy's game just wasn't good enough.
Besides, just because your an indie developer doesn't mean your game can't be marketable.
he really didn't put that much thought into it. he just picked any random console that came to mind.
I would agree that pc gaming isn't dieing, but pc gamers have to realize piracy exists and is hurting developers. And that means that certain measures are going to be Put in place. its okay not to want invasive software, but as long as the developer can keep it to a minimum, it should be fine. having to be connected to the internet to play a game is hardly invasive.
After watching people complain every time a developer tries to protect their investment on developing a game, I've come to a conclusion.
PC gaming is dieing, and pc gamers are killing it.
And how do sony make life difficult for ps3 owners?
You know, you don't even need to respond, I already know you're talking out your ass.
Per console, fight night sold better on the ps3. Combine infamous numbers with prototype (ps3) numbers and you get about the sales of prototype (360). So to say that there are a substantial number of ps3 owners not interested in buying games, you would have to say the same thing about 360 owners.
Profits between car makers and car lots are split between two people, the makers and the lots. For consoles, most games' profits are split between a publisher, the developer, and the console makers (Sony, Nintendo and MS.) They have to split their money pretty significantly, much more than a car manufacturer and the car lot.
It'd be nice if they got money from used game sales. But gamestop's not going to let anyone eat away their profits. If developers want to find an answer to the problem of used game sales, they're going to have to go through gamestop.
EA has been trying to find solutions to used game sales for awhile now (NCAA Football 10 as an example), and so far its always game buyers being effected by anti-used sales measures. I hope they turn their attention to gamestop and make a deal with g...
you think that its surprising the 360 is beating the ps3 in recession? Hmm lets see, if I was hard on cash, which looks better? $200 bucks, or $400. Kudos to MS still, but they should be beating the ps3. they'd be real idiots if they managed to let sony outsell them at that price.
And MS isn't winning. The third best selling console still dictates losing.
I still think its imaginary.
Multiplatform games are the same. The differences that reviews tend to point out are 9 out of 10 times negligible. The only reason people know the differences are because reviews mention them.
I gotta say, smart observation.
He could make it rain money if he wanted to.
If the big three all decided to build one machine together, it will redoubtably be overpriced. the industry would be monopolized. when that happens, a company like Toshiba would make their own console, and undercut prices heavily, thus getting them into the console business.
One Console will never exist, it goes against a basic rule of economy.
-_- <---- That is not punctuation.
Dead Rising 2 is already confirmed multi.
thats pathetic.
