Switch, only 35 million off being the number 1 home console sales wise for last gen.
What an impressive turnaround from the Wii U.
I don't get your rant, games are still available on other platforms.........
Lol, i'm currently having lots of fun playing Doom 64, re running through ES : Oblivion, and am yet to play Morrowind.
And none of it cost me a penny!!!
@CrimsonWing69
I'm curious, please list 1, just 1 1st party first person shooter available on Playstation with the fanbase/sales that match Halo?
I'll wait here......
"if you took a snapshot of the gameplay or location in the game I wouldn’t be able to tell you which Halo it came from."
Yes you would, any Halo fan would be able to, most games are in different settings.
Fallout 76, ESO are live service, Halo is nothing like them.
GAAS/software as a service - monetized content, monthly fee etc, or MT's like in free to play games.
Live service games - content that is created and released to keep a game alive/gamers engaged, normally free content, or paid DLC/expansions (one off payment).
It is not GAAS, there is no monthly fee, the definition of GAAS :-
"In the video game industry, games as a service (GaaS) represents providing video games or game content on a continuing revenue model, similar to software as a service. Games as a service are ways to monetize video games either after their initial sale, or to support a free-to-play model."
@CaptainHenry916
" know you don't want to say it but I'll say it for you.
They will make it a live service. And deep down you know it as well 😂"
Lol, i think you missed the part where is said the following, either that or you chose to ignore it
"but i think it will be the last Halo, and they are just meaning they will provide additional content ala DLC."
Even if they do, i...
@Rude-ro
I agree, they said they had a 10 year plan type thing for Infinite, but i think it will be the last Halo, and they are just meaning they will provide additional content ala DLC. They want to get away from the numbers.
But who knows, they may make it live service, but i do not think they will.
This is simply because of the contract, which they have to honor.
I thought they would continue to be exclusive, same will go for any agreement for other games that have been signed already.
@Deep_Space_One
"Not going to buy this anymore or Ghostwire."
Your choice my friend, me personally this gives me another reason to want to pick up a PS5 if these 2 games turn out to be good.
That is salt at it's finest isn't it lol?
If they announced PlayStation games on xbox, i would not hesitate to buy, who makes the game makes no difference to me as long as it is good.
Ok lol, so now because Microsoft own a Sony console exclusive, you are not going to buy them?
More fool you, your the only one missing out.
So because Halo 5 MP had Microtransactions, you translated that into "that’s literally all we make".
Nearly all MP games have MT's attached now, and live service games are on other platforms.
What other exclusives (other than sea of thieves) are live service?
Halo as a game, meaning campaign mode, has never or will be live service. When i think of live service games, the first ones that come to mind are Destiny, fortnite,...
Halo has never been a live service game, was never planned to be a live service game, and never will be a live service game.
But keep trying.
Out of interest, other than sea of thieves what other GAAS or live service games have Microsoft launched?
PC and xcloud are not xbox, xbox gamers know they get all the games on gamepass day 1, if they have gamepass sub. PC gamers know they get the games on gamepass for PC day 1 if they have the sub. Xcloud is for both parties.
xbox is the console
windows 10 and steam are PC
Xcloud is mobile
Exclusive to the ecosystem
They must have heard me lol, morrowind set for download!!!!
@Deep_Space_one
You really are an angry person, i suggest taking a break if xbox news annoys you so much.
What does gamepass have to do with Sony/Nintendo hardware sales?
