@Waverider
"Are you kididing? Really. After that gameplay reveal? Quite impressive? not even on par with 2013 Killzone Shadow Fall! Animations, effects, graphics, faces (Craig) looked old and dated."
Not sure why you are trying to downplay something and nothing, no one is talking about the gameplay reveal last year other than you, attempting to use it in some kind of war.
I simply said there is nothing stopping Halo Infinite l...
@Rude-ro
"Can you name the last game from Microsoft that was actually on a new game engine?"
Not sure why your asking this to be quite honest.
@1victor
"you know that not putting a number on foza and fable don’t make them new franchises"
Who mentioned new franchises? other than you? Captain said "how about something new like perfect dark or Fable" but i do not see you calling him out?
I simply called the games by their respective names, i could not add numbers, because they do not have numbers, a bit of research into either game would have told you that, no...
There are plenty of new games coming, New IP and sequels.
Xbox has never just been Halo, and this E3 will be no different. Halo is just their system seller, so will naturally garner more attention/coverage.
I'm more looking forward to details/showings of :-
Hellblade 2
State of Decay 3
Forza
Fable
ES6
Starfield
Avowed
and yes, Halo.
Nailed it, that is exactly the reason.
Scrapes and scratches they allow, but doors/body parts flying off, not so much.
"When racing around a track with such breathtaking visuals and immersion, and spot on physics, why is it that smashing into other cars has absolutely no impact?"
Options > Damage > On
No, they should just do their own thing than be lazy and just copy the competition.
I hope they take their own route, and implement whatever systems they want.
@DarthMarvin
"both being cross-gen is super disappointing."
Gotta try and spread that false info to justify GT7 being cross-gen right?
Sorry to offend you, i really am, but there is currently zero Xbox One support in the works for Forza Motorsport.
Next-gen goodness only.
@Zeref
"I would be very surprised if Forza Motorsport isn't crossgen."
Your going to be surprised then, because it is not cross-gen.
"Forza Motorsport, Microsoft's "reimagining" of the bestselling racer, is cruising through the production line, built from the ground up for Xbox Series X|S."
"Forza Motorsport targets Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows 10 PCs, with no Xb...

@FOXHOUND922
"There’s gonna be a lot of GAAS burned with this reboot"
"I agree with Flavor. Game is gonna be riddled with MXT and service based junk."
Source?
Adding new tracks and cars, is not gaas, it is called DLC.

So hyped for some more Forza greatness!!
Quite sure we already knew The Medium was timed, anywho, it is not the worst game to play, i would give it a 7/10 and is great that PS5 owners now get to play it.
Bet they have just purchased a PS3/XB360
Buggy games have been a thing ever since the "Day 1 patch" has been introduced.
Sigh... i remember the good old days of buying a game on cartridge, whacking it in the console, experiencing zero load times, and the game working as advertised.
Maybe we should rewind and the consoles should all launch their games on cartridges/SD cards.
Quite simple, pressure from the publishers to hit a deadline to keep investors happy.
One of the main reasons why 1st party titles do not have extensive bugs, they have the added luxury of being able to flex a deadline to make sure they release a minimal buggy product.
Some of them released, the others will release this year or next.
Just waiting for the PS5 one now, so i can say the exact same thing, or even easier, why did they not just release an article titled "What happened to all the games shown at E3 2019", would have saved them an awful lot of work.
And they will have, all Xbox 1st party games are on gamepass Day 1. (Not to mention they already have AAA games on the service)
AAA is about the budget put into the development of a game, not it's quality/reception.
"In the video-game industry, AAA (pronounced and sometimes written Triple-A) is an informal classification used to categorise games produced and distributed by a mid-sized or major publisher, which typically have higher development a...
So there is nothing stopping Halo Infinite also looking amazing other than your opinion?
The narrative that "old hardware" will restrict/hold back games, needs to end.
HFW are signs already that the narrative is false.
@Eonjay
You did not answer Edvin1984's question.
"Please explain the additional coding needed for the VFRX Y/X index pipe?
Because I am sitting here, and writing some of it I do not see what you are referring to? Unless you mean main api functions prior to the DX11.88?"
Victor also assumed i said something which i never did, just one of those that jumps on the hate train for the ride.
On topic, i completely agree, Halo has never been the showcase for xbox's power, yeah the games are good graphically, but have never been stellar, more focus is put into the MP/SP gunplay/gameplay and the good graphics just complement that.
Forza has been used to showcase the xbox's power.
