Again, i am not implying the gap is not going to increase, i don't know why people assume that, i am simply stating facts as of today, as we know them.
All in all, both consoles are selling well, one better than the other.

Bit hard when you always sell your console at a loss, would be surprised if they ever did make money, but again, this is already known, they said this years ago.
PS5 is due to break even this month, so this month the PS5 will become profitable.

Both consoles are in demand, PS5 might well pull away, i never disputed that.
But as it stands 8.6 - 5.1 million units is less than a 2 to 1 ratio.

Exactly, i know here in the UK, they have taken away parenting powers, you are no longer allowed to discipline your kids, they now expect teachers to do the upbringing.
I know when i was younger i was terrified if i seen the police near my door, and i definitely knew wrong from right.

Exactly, i call them keyboard warriors lol. I have a few people i know that have been jailed, and they have said it was a walk in the park, they said they just worked out in the gym, played games for a few months, and that was it.
Jail is no longer a punishment, but they should introduce minimum jail terms for online hate/threats of 12 months, will soon stop it.
People that make idle threats online, are the ones that need the help, it is a reactory measure to try and make other people feel the way they do.

Easy, develop for the new hardware as the lead, and then dumb the game down for last-gen, titles are not held back due to last-gen, unless last-gen is the development lead in the first place.

They are both businesses, and are doing what will garner the most profit, once next-gen install base reaches a profit sustainable level, then they will stop releasing games on last-gen.

I fully understand revenue vs profit, the bottom line is the xbox division is not in the red or losing money, as long as they make $1, it is in profit.
