@alvira81
Sony had a streaming service before Microsoft, so i don't know why you arent having a pop at Sony for "making gaming worse for everyone"
As for the DRM fiasco (which was never even a thing) that would have been required with what microsoft wanted to do with game sharing between 5 family members, a bit of research would have told you that.
Here is one article

@Apocalypse
We are not discussing remote play. X cloud streams to any device, without the need for the xbox to be turned on.
Remote play, is pause and continue on a device. (Streaming from playstation to device)
I can use Xcloud to play games on the commute to work, or at work. That can not be done with remote play, so i am not the one that is incorrect.

I can see it now....
"Yes, my Stadia is here" (hooks it up) "unable to connect, service unavailable"
I think the difference is sony charge you for it. I dont think it has been done for free before but i may be mistaken
They still get paid for people playing
Games are not streamed using Gamepass, that is Xcloud which is currently in Beta. (which is free of charge)

@shaggy
So you are in agreement that gamepass is more beneficial to the gamer than buying games seperately?
The wood was saying "Personally I don't think there's enough subscribers to feed all of the developers games on gp for a sustainable about of time" omitting the fact that the developers get paid for having their games on the service, kind of like a timed exclusive. Once the games are rotated out, GP members get the game at a discou...
Erm, Microsoft own the developers, so they are only gaining by the game being multi-platform.
What if you play said game for 6 months? Then the gamer pays £50 and still does not own the game? as opposed to buying at retail for £45-50 and owning the game.
Your analogy of gamepass is false
@orions
Just because you have a fast DL/UL speed, does not mean you will not have gateway errors with a bad router/connection.
Re-read and try again
GDDR5 ram has been available since around 2008/09

@Orions
Could be your connection/router as opposed to XBL.
Why would Sony put extra funding to optimise and showcase a Microsoft owned game?
@oldboy
Even if it is ass, at least we didnt pay to play a dump game
Not really surprising as Microsoft own the developers
NO
I think the earliest we may see footage of new games is E3 2020, and i am guessing they will use a Scarlett prototype to announce them.
I'm looking forward to Outer Worlds on the 25th!! (Free of charge ala gamepass!!)
@SolidGamerX maybe not 3rd party (that is not down to Microsofts decision) but multiplat?
Outer Worlds
That is all
Quote from Don Mattrick after the famous 180
"Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today". These changes may have come at the expense of most of the features that had been heavily promoted as unique and innovative by Microsoft, including Family Game Sharing, Digital loaning and sale of games, and disc-less game play."
