Probably the same as the Series X, 4K 60fps.
Xbox Series X news section is the first destination for anyone using N4G lol.
I agree more new games should be shown, but at the minute all anyone is talking about is BC across all the articles lol.
Everyone is talking about BC, old games, whether it be bashing it, or praising it.
You put "we" instead of "I"
fixed it for you
"Good to see EA jumping into bed with ms again"
If i remember correctly it was initially Sony that rejected the idea of EA Access on the playstation, and Microsoft embraced it. EA approached both companies with the same duvet open, Microsoft were just the ones that jumped in.

Yeah because having a new console that improves on all your old library is reason to cancel a pre-order.
"sigh"
The xbox UI is always getting updates/refreshes, this includes layout changes, new features, you do not need a new console to do a UI overhaul.
Remember when they completely revamped the UI during the 360 lifetime?
Will most probably be similar to the xbox one dash, but to compare "home screens/UI" is a strange comparison.
After all, no one buys a console for the UI.
Did i miss something?
Have they shown the launch Series X UI? I thought they have said the Series X UI will not be the same as the xbox one's?
"PS5 has three temperature sensors on the main board to control the fan speed based on the internal temperature of the APU and the highest temperature of the three temperature sensors."
So why will the speed need to be adjusted via firmware?
I agree, it is a dangerous approach to adjust fan speeds.
You might be playing on a hot day, and move the console to a different room, have it next to a radiator, who knows.
I say let the console control the speed of the fan, that is what the controllers are for.
" Its smart design, no reason to have a fan running at max RPM if it doesn't need to"
That is why the console itself will reduce the RPM of the fan due to the thermal signature, no need to be firmware updated, it will only operate at max-RPM if it indeed has to.
That is a dangerous approach, every console will output a slightly different thermal signature, depending on where they position their console, and/or move it to.
You can not create a "one size fits all" profile for a certain game.
What if some gamers do not remove dust etc? what about environmental factors? different thermal household temperatures in different countries.
Like i said, let the fan control how fast it needs to g...
Exactly Computersaysno
Imagine the scenario, Sony slows down the RPM of the fan on a certain game via a firmware update.
A PS5 user, after installing the firmware update, decides he wants to buy a cabinet and enclose the PS5 within it. If the fan can not scale to the thermal differences, and is set, then that console will soon overheat.
As long as they do not make an error when creating said profile.
1 mistake could brick a lot of consoles if they get it wrong (human error)
@Games1st
"Just make fan settings simple. Quiet, balance and performance."
That can not be done, the fan's function is to operate based on the thermal readings inside the console. If the console is starting to overheat, and the user has it set in "quiet mode", then the console will not be lasting very long.
This is standard practice, R&D on the next console starts when and sometimes before, the new console is released.
Sully must not have read the article, and thought they would attempt to downplay yet another xbox article.
I think people are opting for the Series X mainly, there are still places you can grab a preorder for the Series S. (Unless the allocation for Series S is higher)
Here we go with another "analyst" projection.
Will Series X outsell PS5? most probably not (due to fanbase)
Will Series X outsell Xbox One, yes most probably. (better messaging)
There i should be an analyst myself, i just made 2 predictions lol.
