This is actually very useful information. Thanks
In the meantime, Sony should give us the ability to backup ps5 games on external storage devices so we don't have to redownload them as it may be easier to transfer them back to the internal storage when your ready.
I wonder if Sony is going to sell an external disk drive sometime down the line. That would be pro consumer. Let's hope
The one time your glad to see a stability update.
I was one of the users telling persons on this site that it will be impossible to get one this year if it was not pre ordered but I was wrong. I was able to order one from sony direct earlier this morning and all I want to say is that don't lose hope. The trick is to follow the right persons on youtube. There are persons that live stream when these deals go live and you should also follow the right persons on twitter also. You can even use google to help you find when the sales are going ...
Well he is right since these consoles get sold out within minutes of going live. The total sales will be dependent on the number of units they can ship. When availability improves though, it will be a different story.
I didn't even know I wanted this feature. Good job Sony
it will be missed as some games such as Warframe uses the web browser to provide news updates and also uses some aspect of it to sign into their service.
Don't forget that both consoles are launching with a smaller internal storage to keep the cost down.
I don't know about that since I have not seen anything negative being written about Xbox. The ps5 does have more hype, press and interest than Xbox though which would lead you to believe that persons who were lucky enough to get both seem to prefer Playstation.
Summary "All dressed up but nowhere to go" -8/10 ign.
In all seriousness though. This does sound like a solid gaming machine as I am not yet sure if the ps5's backward compatible games will run at 4k 60 fps even though we are exactly a week from launch.
The only thing holding this console back is it's lack of next gen exclusive titles which defeats the purpose of upgrading. I don't even know what to look forward to until Halo infinite launch...
If you are purchasing a 4k tv to play on the new ps5 or Xbox, avoid the cheap TVs or you will regret it a year or 2 down the line when you realize what you have done. You will not be able to enjoy the full next gen experience if your tv is 4k 30fps. it is recommended that you purchase a TV that supports HDMI 2.1. If you are shopping for a new 4k tv, this should be your number one litmus test. The PS5 and Xbox Series X both support 4k120fps and 8k. The Cheap tvs you see in Walmart on Amazon wi...
"99% of the world are rocking 4k tvs" where did you get this statistic from as I am sure the adoption rate is not this widespread as yet. Infact I still see people with 720p tvs out there. I personally purchased a 4k tv 2 years ago but to take full advantage of the new consoles, I will need to upgrade to a tv that is HDMI 2.1 compatible. Those tvs cost more than the disk versions of the consoles atm.
If you do gaming coverage then I can understand that the current situation with the availability of consoles at launch can be very stressful as your livelihood depends on it. If you are the average consumer who held off buying a current gen console because you are still on last gen or your console broke, I can understand your stress as the hype for these consoles are real.
For the rest of us though, while it may be disappointing not being able to get a new console at launch...
Yet they want to increase the price of games to $70 because they can no longer sustain themselves by selling launch games at $60.
How do you use dual sense on PS4 because I've been looking around youtube and found that it can work on ps3 but not on ps4 unless you use remote play via a pc?
They made an error in the ad. The PS5 has coming soon underneath it but in reality, it should say sold out because you won't be able to get one.
I have not played ghost of tsushima, ff7 remake or last of us 2 but this seems to be a solid list.
This is possible since it's not like everyone who wants a PS5 will be able to get one
The Final Fantasy 7 remake is already have been sold out unfortunately. I wish the sale on PSN was atleast 50% off instead of a disappointing 33% off.
