Apart from Hitman Go and Shadow Complex, I have never heard of the other games on the list. Good job Sony.
Much needed tear down video. This now confirms that the rumors about the side panels being removable were true. This will make it customizable and if Sony does not provide enough options for those panels, others will.
I am a little concerned about the SSD being soldered on the board as this means that if it fails or if we want to upgrade it a few years down the line, we will be out of luck.
If a few PS5 games won't have their saved data transferred over, it's not a big deal to me since I will be mostly using the backward compatibility feature to clear out my backlog of games.
For the persons who are not happy about the negative Sony articles lately, blame Sony for this. A new generation is about to begin and we still don't know a lot about the console. The negative news is the only news we are getting from Sony until they start to follow Microsoft&...
I don't think Sony needs to buy any studios at this time as this could turn into a dangerous game of monopoly. Let's be honest guys, we all saw the last ps5 show case, if Microsoft did not respond with something big like aquairing Zenimax and Bathesda for 7.5B, the Xbox would have been forgotten about after the initial launch. The magnitude of this announcement also set a precedent as I have never heard of a platform holder aquairing a publisher and it's holding company.
...
I like how Microsoft is showing off it's features and I wish Sony was as upfront with their backwards comparability performance, UI, new features and more examples of SSD performance other than Ratchet and Clank.
It does not really make a difference for me since by the time I am able get a ps5 it would have already been released and many videos will be on youtube going through these features. Blame the scalpers for this.
One more thing, for the person...
I'd suggest ps fans take advantage of this if you can afford it because with ps5 games and controllers being $70, I would not be surprised of the subscription cost increases to $70 at some point down the line.
Those are publishers
To the Sony defenders. The spiderman PS4 upgrade better look identical to Miles Morales to warrant the asking price as I already expect the current version of the game to run at 4k 60 fps via backwards compatibility.
This was poorly handled and Sony needs to do better. The scalpers won again as there are listings all the way over $1000 on eBay for the ps5. I guess I won't be getting it at launch.
At the rate at which they are monetizing these AAA games, most people will move to free to play and indie games because the greed of these publishers is on another level. IDK how they can justify a $70 price while still maintaining a virtual currency/loot box type monetization structure in their games. I also fear that next gen games will be designed in a way where the enjoyment of a game you paid full price for will be hindered because they want to entice you to buy micro transactions as we ...
Even if the new AMD cards are more powerful than the new Nvidia cards, I would still recommend the Nvidia cards over them. I've had an AMD card for several years and while it does perform well on PC games. In the emulation department, it is severely lacking. I am a user that likes to dabble in almost everything on the PC and what most video card reviewers won't tell you (mainly because many of them don't play or have time to play games or the stigma behind emulation) is that most ...
Thought I was the only person that noticed because when I checked the comment section on YouTube the game was being showered with praise. I think they should have remade Mario 64 with more modern graphics and include Galaxy 2 since the collection now feels incomplete.
Won't be registering until I know about the price and some of the policies regarding game sharing, backwards compatibility etc. I hope I won't come to regret this come November.
Good to hear that xCloud is doing well. I can't wait to try it myself next month when it launches. For those who are saying negative things about xCloud, I think what most reviewers need to start mentioning how far they are from their wireless router when testing the service because when I tried Geforce now, I started noticing high latency when I was a few rooms away but when I moved closer the lag was almost unnoticeable. Mind you I was using the ds4 controller over Bluetooth which adds ...
Even if Google kicks them off the playstore, it will not stop me from installing it on Android as long as Microsoft offers it on the Galaxy store or if they offer an apk.
As a gamer, I understand Microsoft's approach. It is just unfortunate that most people here due to their biases don't. When they announced that project X cloud will be able to play the games that are on game pass at no extra cost. I know that they are eliminating the barrier for console gaming. Especially if they do it better than stadia and other services that came before. Can't wait to be able to play series X games on my android phone without having to spend hundreds of dollars...
Well derserved. I played this game on ps4 with my brother who does not usually play video games and we were both hooked. I hope we can see more games that takes what is good about this game but on a larger scale.
I did not play Sekiro or Remnant from the Ashes but the first Nioh game is probably the most difficult 3d game I have ever played on PS4. It is even worst than Bloodborne since after I got to a certain point in Nioh I started up bloodborne on new game plus and defeated the first boss without taking many hits. I also remember when I was on my first playthrough and I was about 75% in the game I was able to beat a few bosses on my first or second try. Based on my observation in Nioh, the enemies...
Too many sales but not for the games I want to play. I would like to see a sale on crosscode, divinity 2, dragon ball fighter pack 3, etc
This is an interesting design for the interface that is a little more complex than the Xbox so newcomers may feel intimidated at first but once they get used to it, they may not want to go back to the one on PS4. This we have learned today are:
1) Each game will have tiles for each level that you start with completion progress.
2) Some level will show video hints that can be pinned on the screen or in a side by side view.
3) You can now join parties withou...
