I said I can't be bothered being a journalist - I didn't say I couldn't be bothered being a reader of, and a commenter on said journalism.
Journalism is about asking the right questions to get answers - it doesn't matter if the questions are posed in front of a camera or by a written letter. That doesn't change the quality of the question, or the importance of the answer.

Tbh I tend to agree with the article to a certain extent. It wasn't a bad year for gaming - it just wasn't as good as we thought it would be.
Personally, part of the problem for me was starting off the year with ME2 - was always going to be hard for anything else to top that. Everything felt kind of shallow compared to that big bang in January.

Lets face facts - anyone can be a game journalist. You just have to look at the questions delivered to the Bioware guys and the way they were delivered (hhg included in this).
If that's not enough to convince you, look at some of the shit that is posted here. Many gamers could do a better job than these so-called journalists, it's just a shame that none of us can be bothered.

One place in Oz has the 6970 for a $570ish pre-order (6950 = $450), but looking at their prices for other components, it seems like they're making a pretty hefty markup.
I'm waiting until I see some real prices - when I can get a pair of 6870's for $540, the 6970 would have to come under that price given the performance i've seen to warrant a purchase.

I like Uncharted 2, but I was left fairly underwhelmed by the trailer tbh. The ME3 trailer was by far more impressive to me.
