Crysis 2 on a midrange PC will look better than ANYTHING on consoles this year. It may run at a terrible framerate but it will definitely look better.
So the authors opinion is that he doesn't have a clue.
I tend to agree with him. What a waste of internet space.
I'd rate red dead above blops - but i'd rate ME2 above both.
@ FarEastOrient - I lol'd. I was not aware real weapons had giant pink bell ends on the end of them.
That looks amazingly 1990's. The thumb stick looks pretty awkward in its current position as well....
I would of thought Americans cared the least about spelling errors......or were at least ignorant of them.
OT - maybe the special DLC bonus is you get to play as a carrier pigeon.
Wouldn't that be Career mode?
I'm also interested in how many people do this.
I've got it on PC (with all the DLC) and see no real reason to buy it again on PS3. I wouldn't mind looking at it to see how it has turned out, and would like to check the interactive comic out, but other than that, I don't see it as being worth the investment.
Why would you have to switch? What's wrong with gaming on more than one platform? I don't get this whole having to support one platform and that's it attitude. If more people actually played on more than a single platform we'd have less trolling and less fanboy issues. (see Vaistrat below)
I also don't get the games holding the PC back comment. Do you mean it the other way around? If so, that still doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
If they're talking about gameplay then fair enough, but as you said other games surpass it already.
To me, when someone says "(insert game) Killer!", I tend to think from a marketing point of view, as gameplay preference comes down to the users (unless the game is absolutely terrible).
Until he realises you're using a pic of him in a spiderman suit as your avatar on N4G.
CoD killer on a single platform? Good luck with that.
The game may be brilliant but it won't get anywhere near the popularity that CoD enjoys.
Lay off the crack mate.
I enjoyed FC2 - just wouldn't put it in the same boat as some of the other classics listed there.
That would make life more difficult lol.
Maybe it's just Miranda's face that puts me off lol

As I said, it's not terrible looking by any stretch, it's not as bad as say Fallout, but it's just not overly amazing in my books, and I wouldn't call it stunning.

Brilliant games. Don't know why Far Cry 2 is on that list though.
I put so many hours into Sierra games on my Amiga when I was younger. Does anyone remember Kings Quest 3, where you start as a wizards apprentice/slave or something, and he lives on top of this massive mountain, and at one point you have to walk this path down the mountain? Died so many bloody times there.
I'm pretty sure a gaming PC from 2006 would do that easy. My brother is currently running one of my old computers (an old 6xxx series C2D with a 4870 in it) and is able to run ME2 with no frame drops at max settings, and at release that would of been mid-range at best. The Mass Effect series has been one of the least demanding large titles to be released over the past few years.
As to your other point - install errors can be bloody annoying (having said that, I haven'...
Stunning Character Models?
Stopped reading right there. Don't get me wrong - I love the game, but it's hardly the best looking game around, especially with facial expressions etc.
That was terrible.
As to the question - "will the next cod game be a big hit?" Of course it will. MW2 didn't change that, so blops won't either.
