I'd much rather have user created maps kthx, they're generally better than anything that the devs put out.
All you have to do is look at Valve and what they're done with CS, TF2 etc. Free updates, user created maps, free content etc. If I want a game I have to continue paying for after the initial fee, i'll play an MMO.

If you look at the 3DS being aimed at a more casual market, I would think that the casual market is way larger than the hardcore gaming market.
I'm not writing it off at all - it's a great achievement, and it will sell really well, and be very popular etc. But the most popular games atm are all the facebook and iphone apps that are aimed at a very casual audience.

He's talking to them - and they're laughing at him. I don't think anybody actually takes him seriously, they're just using him as a means to an end. I watch his vids for the entertainment value - as I think a lot of people do.
Agree about bluray - I think we will see a larger emphasis on digital downloads, but the physical package will still be the main way for users to buy games.
FFS the audio quality keeps getting worse! Starts with a terribly mixed intro track and gets worse when he starts to talk to people. Really need to fix that shit up - is like listening to a scratched CD through blown speakers.

I think you'll find only console owners care about exclusives. PC users are quite happy to see games on all platforms because the best version will almost always be on the PC anyway.
Agreed, I never had any major issues, but then again once the first patch was out for NV I didn't have any issues with that either *shrugs*
Tbh as long as the engine continues to progress, i'm not that fussed if they don't do another Crysis.
Is no real surprise that they've got the rough story mapped out for the third game, am assuming they're treating C2 as the development and C3 as the conclusion. Nothing new here.
I think more dev's are tacking on MP to try to battle piracy. Some are doing it better than others, but I can't see any point to a Mass Effect MP component, unless it was of the MMO variety. That could be worthwhile - anything else would be a waste imo.
I'm wondering what the actual underlying problem is though....never had any issues at all with the PC version, and I can't see the save system being completely different on every platform.
