So I see that his new deal with a marketing/production team hasn't improved his show at all......

Oh well, I guess it's too much to ask.

Not the usage percentage bullshit again lol......

People who know nothing about tech should never comment on tech.

+1 for Deus Ex. Still the most play throughs of any game for me.

Which is fine if it's new info.

I still think the whole "ME3 engine" thing was simply a marketing ploy. I mean, if it's running a new and upgraded engine, surely there would be no doubt as to whether it looks better or not, yet the arguments are still going as to which version looks the best. Performance wise, there doesn't seem to be any massive difference either.

I think the devs said it was running on the ME3 engine - neglecting to mention that the ME3 engine is the same as the ME2 engi...

That's a lovely kick in the guts to the devs.

But what facts are there about a game?

If all a reviewer is able to post is facts, it would read like "insert disc. game loads. game plays. game ends. eject disc." There can't be any comments on the way the game looks, sounds, plays etc.

Any comment on the audio/visual/gameplay/story etc is inherently subjective. Facts would be great, but there simply aren't any meaningful facts that you can state about any game that people would want to re...

I'm hoping the cover system is ok - have read some reports that it's a little annoying to use. Could kill the game if true.

"I am saying that every big game that incorporates top of the line gameplay, graphics, multiplayer, audio, etc. should."

That goes without saying. The flipside to that though is that a game has problems, it should receive a lower score, which is what we're seeing here. It may be a better game in terms of the qualities you listed, but if it's worse in other areas, surely that should have an impact on the final impression?

"It has deserve...

Lol.

Fair enough if you're not interested in it. But to say that nobody else is interested just because you're not is ignorant and stupid. Can't expect any more from a fanboy I guess.

If Kinect is so limited and useless - why are people putting so much time and effort into modding it and coming up with cool stuff? If it was limited and useless, you wouldn't be seeing any of this stuff, all we'd be seeing is endless videos of that dance gam...

Killzone has never been the type of game that needs (or would really benefit from) a decent story anyway. I put it in the same mindless fun mold as L4D, Postal, Far Cry etc. I only notice bad stories when they're in games that need a good story (i.e Alpha Protocol).

5515d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Did you ever think that maybe they're posting Kinect Hack videos because people are interested in it? Compared to Move, Kinect has been by far the more visible new controller over the past couple of months, not due to the games, or bias, but due to what people are doing with it.

When we start seeing good games using the Move, and it starts getting some interesting mods happening, you'll obviously see it reported more. But so far there hasn't been a whole lot worth...

Is interesting that all the sites marking the game down are stating the story as the main reason, whereas (most of) the sites that are giving the highest scores are concentrating on the multiplayer.

Tbh it doesn't surprise me, I don't know if there would be that many people that would buy a game like KZ3 for the stellar story telling and narrative. Another case for maybe giving each section of the game an individual score for those that really care about the numbers a...

It actually has been, happened with MW2, and i'm pretty sure with Blops as well. Tbh I wouldn't mind the two to reviewed individually, and then average them out for the final result. Would save having to read through a SP or MP review if i'm not going to be interested in that portion of the game.

@ Esena - Are you saying that every big budget, big name, big publisher game should automatically have an arbitrary score appointed to it, regardless of whatever flaws it...

Would be nice.

Won't happen though.

I personally only check out reviews to tell me the bad points of games, as if i'm interested in a game, I already know what the good points are, and don't really need to watch a reviewer impale themselves on a giant developer cock.

Probably why i'm a Yahtzee fan.

Just out of curiosity, why does the difficulty the reviewer played on matter? I mean, yeah, obviously the game will be easier, but you'd still be able to get the same feel for the game mechanics, story, presentation, controls etc.

And I don't think a change in difficulty can account for 4 or more hours of missing gameplay, if he did actually finish the game in 6 hours.

5515d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Two questions -

Why does a number matter so much to you?

And how do you know it's a top class game? I'm pretty sure the reviewer has played more than you have....

Don't get me wrong, i'm not bashing the game at all, but I find it funny that you're willing to trust a review with a higher number.

I got the feeling there was only a year or two between them. No real evidence, just a gut feeling.
