Exactly. I couldn't care less as to which console has the most sales, and I don't see any reason why anybody apart from people involved in each company should either.
When you look at the amount of potentially brilliant games coming out this year, this is the last thing any of us should be caring about.
Stupid.
No gameplay, nothing to see here, you can go about your business, move along, move along.
Or, more accurately, a very detailed painting to a HD photo of a very detailed painting.
April at the earliest, more likely later though.
Would be VERY surprised if anything comes of this.
That said - good luck to them.
There's a vid of a bloke playing Total War via Kinect and voice commands. Is very cool.

I'm thinking Carmack is going to pull something out of his bag of tricks again and stun a lot of gamers who don't think Rage will be up to scratch on the consoles.
I don't know if it will be the best looking console game of the year, but I think it will come bloody close.
List is obviously full of fail.
Wtf just happened?
Lol. I don't know how much more critically acclaimed any of the IP's I listed can get, with the exclusion of Rage of course.
Deus Ex, Portal, Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls have all won GOTY awards, and all of them have been massive evolutions of their chosen genre, with Deus Ex practically inventing a genre.
Do yourself a favour and pick up the original Deus Ex and Portal games at the very least - a 5 year old PC will run both easily, and may open yo...
I'm actually thinking that the real gems will be the multiplats tbh, with Portal 2, Deus Ex, Rage, Skyrim, and Mass Effect 3 leading the way.

Either way, it's a great year for gamers and especially owners of more than a single platform.
Razer > Mad Catz.
I would of thought the HHGS in the title would of given it away...
Where did this article say that the games would be good? Success does not equal quality, and quality does not equal success.
As you said Arksine, mass appeal makes it successful, and that's what the article is about. Getting into an argument about a games qualities is pointless in this context. I'm not disagreeing with you by any stretch, the argument just has no real relevance in this context.
@ ExPresident -
Sales does equal people...
All versions will have one more DLC bundle leading up to ME3 - don't expect it any time soon though.
"try not to sound so butt hurt."
Why would I be butthurt? I own a PS3, and have GoW3. I also own a 360, and a bloody good gaming PC. So, please, enlighten me as to why I should feel butthurt.
"i am sure you know more than people who worked on the game. DUHHH "
I obviously don't. But I know that resource usage comes down to optimization, which you obviously have no idea about.
Sales = people playing, so that's success on a consumer level, as well as meaning that people actually enjoy the game.
And if you look at the average review scores for the past few CoDs, you'll find that they've achieved critical success as well.
I don't know how else you would gauge success tbh. You don't hear the "CoD killer" tag line come from devs/publishers for no reason....
The big exclusive IP's are, if only because fan boys will buy a game regardless just to rub it in to the "opposition".
Having said, all the big exclusives coming out this year (obviously mainly on the PS3 side of things) are looking decent to very good, so I expect them all to sell very well.
Multiplats like ME3, BF3, will also be huge, simply because the devs consistently put out brilliant games that are well worth the money. I'd add DXHR t...
What about baby Kratos?
Kickin ass at the nursery? The battle against shit stains in his undies? Getting revenge on the god that stole his toy car?
Something along those lines would be awesome.
