I'm genuinely content with MGS4 on its own for Volume 2 - IF they put the effort in and make it the remaster it deserves to be. It is crazy to me that the PS3 is still the only official way to play one of the best (or most divisive, depending on your view) games of all time.

Thank you kindly.

REmake is still so good 21 years later (!!) that as much as I'd love it I don't think we'll get it. CV could sure do with one, especially after reintroducing Wesker in RE4make, but 5 seems the most likely option.

Honestly it will also be the one to most likely benefit from the changes - I still loved the heck out of it back in the day - and I feel almost the entirity of 6 would be retconned given the chance. I think it's possible they'd actually get rid ...

Brutally hard but very good game.

Nier Replicant is so fucking good. Definitely worth playing then Automata straight after.

Absolutely. They fucked up the OG release (although I still loved it if I'm being honest) and then spent years creating genuinely massive free DLCs to make the game they originally promised.

Or even a 60 FPS patch, which still blows my mind...

That's a fine list right there, friend. May I be so bold as to throw Bioshock out there as well.

Normally I would be absolutely pumped for any R* remaster, assuming that the once legendary studio would put all the necessary effort into a game that more than deserves a proper makeover. However after the GTA Trilogy, my faith completely crumbled.

Here's hoping they make me look a fool!

I agree to be honest. I played it back in the day and played the remaster when it released. Neither time did I get what made people love it to the extent they seem to.

I love Twin Peaks, big Stephen King fan, and the Twilight Zone is still pretty good. Even though AW takes influence from all three, it didn't really work for me. I'll play the sequel but I'm not buzzing for it.

Now a new Remedy Max Payne... Yes please.

Shame Fight Night was done away with, but at the same time hell yeah - can we please have ground elbows again this time 🙈

Haha for less than £1 me and the missus had to see what this strange semi-rip off was like. The girl is literally Ellie, it's ridiculous. The concept of the game though: nothing like the Last of Us.

Brian Lee (you know, that Brian Lee, that well known action hero) goes forward in time to stop the zombie apocalypse. Hilariously bad.

Road to Zanarkand holds a special place in my memories. Haven't played it for probably 15 years but Auron was 👌 Awesome music and story.

Nier: Automata is one of the most phenomenal games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. I played it only a few months ago, did everything, I don't replay games often and certainly not within a few years but man...I want to go again.

Replicant is also pretty good, just boring ass side quests.

Always preferred PlayStation but in the end gamers are gamers, who gives a f*** what console or PC you are using. The one thing we all have in common is videogames but since the old Nintendo/ Sega wars fans love to create that divide.

That's a bold claim considering the exclusives we already have. Personally I've found few games match up to Returnal, although there are some absolute crackers out there. Very curious to experience this now - in general over the decades I felt FF slowly dropped in overall quality. FFVII back in the day was exceptional, X was mind blowing, XII was alright, XIII made me depressed at everything it could have been, XIV was a bizarre hybrid of two very different games with an obvious cross...

Nope. 50 years down the line, I can still play my physical games. Who the hell knows if the Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox etc. brands will still be around by then. If not, all those digital purchases become fairy dust.
