If it can be done right then amazing, yes please. Yoko Taro seems to change it up each time so I'm curious what a 'sequel' really means.
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Man same shit as Alan Wake 2. Folks said we'd end up digital only, and I hate that slowly they're being proven right. Call me a nerd but I love having my collections - if I'm buying a game, show or film, it's nice to have something physical to show for it.
Appreciate that Shinoff, but it doesn't offend me in the slightest. I'm a teacher and a dad to my partner's daughter, I introduced her to MMA, her first swimming session, bike rides, scooters. I have no shame in enjoying my games when they're both in bed or out, and I'm damn sure proud of who I was able to step up and be for that little girl 😁 I wish you all the best.
"The agreement between the leading AI voice company and the world’s largest performers’ union will enable Replica to engage SAG-AFTRA members under a fair, ethical agreement to safely create and license a digital replica of their voice."
Thanks dude. I hate it when they do click bait stuff like "adding a highly requested feature" without saying what it is. 😂
A good hundred hours with the original release, and I loved it - bugs and all. No doubt CP2077 2.0 is now an actually fantastic game, Phantom Liberty had some great moments, and I felt a bit sad when I finally put the controller down after my third playthrough and accepted that 300 hours is probably my limit.
I had a blast, and am a little envious of anyone who is now getting to experience it fresh in it's current state.
They need to be let loose on Bloodborne first 😁
I completely get making a decision between single player stories vs a live service, but the fact it took so long to announce this, when it seemed logical to a lot of folk that it would be a very demanding project, is frustrating. Ah well, a new Factions is now well and truly dead.
I agree, a new game engine will naturally change how any sequel looks - and CP2077 looks fucking awesome at times.
I still think life might be a simulation for the same reason.
Excellent 😂😂😂
I wouldn't be shocked but how long will the DLC last? 10 minutes? 🤦♂️ And Bluey is so damn good as well, it's the one show (outside of the OG Captain Scarlett and Power Rangers) that I have no issue ever watching with my daughter.
Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Battlefield - all celebrated franchises that long outstayed their welcome and became shells by the end. I sometimes wonder if all this inevitably has to lead to another video game crash, we're so oversaturated in games nowadays - not a bad thing as such, but too many for them to all justify their existence and actually profit.
As a parent who loves the show but absolutely objects to spending £35 on a two hour game, this review helped put it into perspective a bit. The kiddo will love it regardless (and let's be honest she doesn't care how much it costs dad!)
Either him being the baddie, ala Mario Land 3, another Wario Land - it's been a while since the Shake Dimension - or, since the poor guy has been abused for long enough also, give Waluigi his due and make it the Wario Bros.
The price increase for both the console and subscriptions can suck a dick, but the games in general have been 👌
I wondered this too.
I loved playing the OG Alien Hominid at school on Newgrounds back in the day. I'm sure it came to PS2 at some point and that I got that as a filler present for Christmas. Fun, daft game.
Oh man, that game was a slog. Graphics and music were excellent though, and it's nice directly strongly to Automata.
