So essentially the exact same mentality *most* gamers have always had: if it's good enough, it's (sometimes, gamer dependant) a day 1 buy. If it's average, wait until the inevitable discount.
This response is an example of why they are taking hits like this. When there was no internet, you rented or relied on word of mouth before buying. Now we can literally watch and see how good a game really is before pulling out the cash. Basically, yes they need to up thei...
Not a great walking sim. It lacked the mature voice needed to deal with such sensitive content. A good concept but poorly executed, and overshadowed by the Firewatch's, Rapture's and Edith Finch's of the genre.
Yes, we do. It's a weird elitist mentality that some gamers have; PC being far superior etc etc. - the logistics of having a PC in some homes just isn't practical, but most of us have a TV, and a game console takes up considerably less space next to it. There's also a strange refusal to acknowledge that most gamers aren't the type of people who come on N4G, or read gaming news. They kick back on the sofa and play a few games after school or a hard day's work.

Looks promising and after two games in a similar environment I'm down for this new setting.
Man Dawn of Sorrow was my first real entry into the series (I dabbled with the first stage of SCIV as a young kid) and it was f**king awesome. I'm stoked they've just re-releaded this, randomly. It also gives me hope that some other DS classics, such as Hotel Dusk/ and Last Window, might see the same treatment - or dare I suggest, a sequel (RIP Cing)
I can't think of any other game that became famous throughout it's PS demo, rather than the game itself. I was stoked as a kid to get this when my brother and I got the PSX chipped (wow that takes me back to a different time, anyone else get there's chipped?), then we had a genuine copy of Tombi 2 - which I think is probably better, such badass music. I was very pleased I got to play this again as an adult, the nostalgia wears off when you realise you never got to the end in the a...
Leonardo approves.
Whilst I agree with you, I recall a very similar argument when PSVR1 was released. If that's the case, we're still in the same situation as the 80s - VR technology ever improving, but the reality is it doesn't seem to be catching on amongst the masses.
Excited for this. Stella Blade will most likely be the sleeper hit for me this year, obviously there are a few games that have my attention coming out in the next few months but I'm keeping eye out for this as it could be fun.
Best comment in a long time 😁
I'm on Playstation so would love to play Starfield, but I'm fine with consoles having exclusives (as, you know, that's why multiple consoles exist to begin with). I'm glad it sounds like it's in a better state now. Cyberpunk is one of my favourite games, and that is out of a lot of genuine classics after 30 years of gaming, and that came out in a poor state too. Now, it's tremendous. Let folk hate, it doesn't effect your enjoyment of a product. Bethesda games were ...
Raven suit>>>>>all others.
It's both games repackaged into one remake dude
Wow. I read that article after you posted it, just wow. "Not that type of company", 🖕 off Bungie execs.
Hello Games put in so much work with NMS. It's similar to CDPR, they massively improved Cyberpunk, Hello Games took that multiple steps further and have just poured everything into this title, rather than say f*ck it and move on.
Oh that's interesting! I played it last April for the first time on PS5 and suffered no crashes, but I played it on Switch and...yeah
I'm sorry but this looks fantastic! Like PS1 Destruction Derby but in next-next-next-next gen.
Stellar Blade showed many of us that it doesn't matter if this is your first big game - with enough passion and finding, you can make a banger.
It'll almost certainly be a "deluxe remaster", the games (although lots of us loved them) aren't on the same level of popularity as a series such as Resi, therefore I can't see them doing full blown remakes.
