Haha their boom means it gets outsold 5:1 by the 3DS. The Vita was on a very low level and a 68% / 65% increase in UK meant something like 2000 more units were sold.
And the increase in sales was not a PS4-Thing. More a normal holiday season thing.
The Vita is still bombing - nothing to see here.

MS has been investing in their first party studios like hell for the past 2 years. Good to see that they are still doing so.
Max Payne and Resident Evil were decent IMO.
I still think this has a lot of potential and I am really looking forward to the Halo series.
It just needs to be done right.

I like to read these stats and MS publishes them every now and then. This is not a weak counter to Sonys sales numbers at all. It was not even meant to be a counter probably.

Most of the former Rare staff went on to another studio and made a new game already. That game was a PS3 exclusive and is named Haze. We all know how that turned out.
Rare, just like Microsoft itself, is in a very strange position. They are healthier and bigger than ever before, but people still claim they aren't as successful as they were a decade ago.
MS shares just hit a 13 years high and Rare just made 2 games that sold 8 mil...
Kinect does offer lots of new possibilities and it works perfectly fine 90% of the times I used it.
Of course N4G won't allow this to happen, so they dig out some random videos and troll.
It really works and it is simple. I am glad they put Kinect in the box.
I just played with my Xbox One for a couple of hours and I thought I had the same problem. :-)
Actually all the games come up with a FREAKING huge Day One Patch (CoD Ghosts, Ryse, Dead Rising 3 for me) and these patches are like 1.3 GB or something.
So if you insert your disc, it starts to install the game and it seems to stand at 0% and you might think it did not even start. What it really does is downloading the huge patch, so the first 0-5% of the install ...
The Vita sells 50% of the Wii U. It really is that bad.
I am pretty confident that the Vita will stay the Dreamcast of its generation.
