Well I am excited about it, because of all the talent they hired for this studio.
Developers from Crytek, Sucker Punch, EA Vancouver, UbiSoft Montreal and a couple of others built that studio so I am looking forward to their games.
I am pretty close to that already.
I just hope they find someone that deserves this salary and helps to create a cool gaming experience.
So I spent my 2 bubbles educating others:
The news you posted was about revenue and this is about units sold.
You should bubble me up for being helpful! :-)
those news were about revenue. This one is about units sold.
So no, PS4 did not outsell the Xbox 360 in UK in 2013 and will never do so, because the year is over.
I loved Shen Mue I and II, but somehow I dont want a Shen Mue III. Sega does not have the talent and budget to do such a huge game again.
Tbh there are not much Japanese gaming studios out there that could create such a game that appeals to the West as well.
Look at Square Enix for example or look at the Resident Evil franchise and how Capcom managed it. I just don't want to be disappointed.
I want them to work on a bigger game. Not $60 retail (yet), but maybe something like Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare for $29 would be cool.
My first child will be born in the next weeks, no time for gaming then... But I will buy Titanfall anyway :-)
*edit* I like the disagree :-)
Go Titanfall. Just preordered it.
So far, 2 games on preorder: Titanfall and Quantum Break.
3 million for a $500 console is pretty good.
Well done.
Now give me Titanfall, Quantum Break and Halo 5.
So you compare games for the year 2014 for a console that launched in 2005 with games for the year 2013 for a console that launched in 2006 / 2007... And then you say: LOOK AT THE MUCH BETTER SUPPORT! -.-
Titanfall, Project Spark, Fable Anniversary are not too bad for a console in its 9th year
Sure, Azure is not as big a Windows on its own, but the Server & Tools division generated more revenue than the Windows division in FY 2013!
Here you go:
Business Division: 24.7 billion USD
Server & Tools: 20.3 billion USD
Windows Division: 19.2 billion USD
Entertainment & Devices: 10.2 billion USD
Online Services: 3.2 billion USD
I am not making this up, you can read it here:
"According to the same site ,Microsoft
which is now relying heavily on it core business model of Desktop based Windows platform"
How long will it take for those people to realise that this is just wrong?
MS division that performs best is the business division (Office). Then there is tools and services at No. 2 (MS SQL, Cloud Services / Azure). Windows is at no. 3!
Get your facts right.
it seems that XBL was down or had issues for a very small group of people for less than an hour.
That was their big attack?!
You can blame MS for a lot of things (horrible PR, higher price tag, strange reveals), but not for their game offerings.
- Dead Rising 3
- Ryse
- Forza 5
at launch and
- Sunset Overdrive
- Titanfall
- Halo 5
- Quantum Break
- Kinect Sports Rivals
- Project Spark
already announced for 2014 (plus a lot of games just teased like Black Tusk, new Minecraft, new Rare game) is ...
I can't wait for this game.
It is not the best looking game, but really EVERYONE is loving it already.
Quantum Break, Halo 5 and Titanfall are my must-haves for 2014.
I might get Watchdogs and Thief as well. And The Evil Within might get my attention as well.
Good times ahead.
Is there a topic in this wide world Blowfish choses not to comment on?
Conker, Banjo, Crimson Skies for me then!
I like the reasons for the reporting:
"Not gaming related" Yeah, this would not affect gaming at all. LOL!
and
"Lame" - But they explained this with "obvious flamebait" and "More Sony bashing..."
hahaha
Let's face it, this will never be approved on N4G, because of the content. That is the only reason.
WHAT?!
Titanfall
Halo 5
Quantum Break
Sunset Overdrive
Project Spark
Fable Legends
Kinect Sports Rivals
and many more.
I have yet to see another platform offering better and a more diverse lineup. And please don't come up with $4 indie games and free to play titles that released 2-3 years ago on PC.
