another day, another vocal indie.
Fable Legends in 2015... new IP in 2017... Fable IV in 2019.
Damn that is a loooong time for a Fable fan like me, but I want to see what else they can do. Maybe it is a smaller title for XBLA so development time will be much shorter as well.
We will see.
Free to play and indie games... Sony need to show what their first party studios are doing ASAP.
This is not trolling or anything:
Sony markets the PS Vita more as an accessory for the PS4 than a console / handheld that can stand on its own. There won't be many first party games, I can tell you that. The reason is that the PS Vita sold sooooo bad. Less than 100k in the US in December is just terrible.
Sony will push the PS4 now and just drop the Vita as a platform for handheld gaming. Don't expect much from E3 either. It became a gimmick for the ...
Things I want to see:
already announced:
- More Quantum Break
- More Halo 5
- More Sunset Overdrive
- Black Tusk Game
- More Fable Legends
New announcements:
- Forza Horizon 2
- Rares next game
- Lionheads next game
- Lift London projects
- MS Osaka next game
Maybe 2-3 Kinect titles as well, because I think MS should use Kinect when they already bundle...
That is one of the more productive ways to use the streaming / upload functions of the Xbox One / PS4.
We have seen worse...
NICE! FPS > Pixel for every self respecting competitive gamer
Not only that they think a video app ensures victory, it is a video app that is available on Xbox 360 for almost 2 years now.
Well latinpost.com seems not to be a website to read for videogames. Who would have thought?
Probably Black Tusk Game. They are using UE4 I think and developing an Adventure / Stealth game.
+ Titanfall
+ Project Spark
Let's see what the other consoles will get in 2015.
Fable 2 > Fable 1 > Fable 3.
All three games are good though. Fable 2 was one of the best games I played this gen. I am a fan, but the artstyle for a RPG is just perfect.

Genesis and SNES was just as wild, only offline.
That is the curse for early adopters. Both consoles and their software will get better as time passes by.
Both had massive Day One updates and lots of games needed patches as well. Heck I spent 2-3 hours to download the patches and install the games before I got to play my first game.
Killzone did not even have ingame voice chat ready at launch...
Good to see they are working on it though.
@MasterCornholia
correct.
Still, this is not official sales data in this article.
@cochise_313
assumption is the mother of all failures.
Just to clear things up:
This is not official sales data. This is one single retailer.
And the Xbox One did not release in those countries yet.
Keep 'em coming Microsoft!
Titanfall and maybe Thief for me.
Nice spin. Here are NPD facts for December 2013:
GT6 bombed and did not even chart. It sold less than 180k
Xbox One software outsold PS4 software by 600k
4.8 million vs 4.2 million.
Tearaway for the Vita bombed with about 50k units sold.
Dead Rising for the Xbox One sold 526k
Forza 5 for the Xbox One sold 457k
Ryse for the Xbox One sold 431k
PS Vita sold less than 95k (!!!)

Well done MS. $100 difference and still.coming out on top is a huge success. back in June nobody would have thought about such an achievement.
never even heard of it.
