It's by review score CJ. Personally I'd play less of the sports games too but the scores are the scores! The list made itself!

There's def going to be more. MS is in on this one for the long haul as it uses their precious kinect sensor. They'll suck people in with the single workouts for Insanity or P90X to get you interested then ask you to buck up for more. It's not like they aren't already charging for the Jillian Michaels stuff right? It only makes sense. I see your point but I also think that sometimes you need to look past things like that because they are temporary. DICE isn't going to ignore the situation, they are going to fix it. Once the patches are released and everything runs smoothly the game will be fairly deserving of its score. Bringing down a score for something that will inevitably be fixed makes no sense. At 30GB or higher for every forced game install, disc or not, I foresee a lot of adding and deleting going on for gamers. PAIN IN THE ASS.
Hahahahaha... I did the review for this one on our site too and I have to agree! The cheese factor is hella high! Luckily the 'story' is really just a minor bit in the game and the focus is all racing for the most part.
I think the point is that whether you want to see it or not Sony does indeed want a Halo killer. This business is all about the almighty dollar. Sure it's more PC to say there's room for everyone but in the long run what they want is to secure your loyalty and therefore your wallet. The XB1 wants to outsell the PS4 and vise versa. One of the ways they go about doing this is by locking up exclusives to outdo the other and win the gamer over. The comparison is a valid one.
Honestly it's less flame bait and more just a comment on flagship shooter exclusives for MS/Sony. It only mentions it once and on top of that is a very positive review for KZ. I mean fanboys don't need much of an excuse to go off, I get that, but in the long run the review is saying very good things about a pretty solid game.
Just gonna point out that the article is very much cracking a joke at elite PC snobs so don't take that too seriously. It's just an information article on what it takes to cost effectively enter the PC market. On top of that the writer actually makes a point of mentioning great upcoming console exclusives... meaning that he very much supports console gaming as well. No butthurt PC snobbery going on here. The title is very much tongue in cheek.
I managed to get my hands on it for some testing and while I'm obviously not allowed to say too much about it I can certainly say that it's an improvement over the direction Bioware took in DA2. Personally I thought they had it right in DA1 so I wish they would have just stuck with that!

Regardless, the 5 points he makes are pretty valid ones so you never know. I know for sure it's on my purchase list. Now I just need to narrow down the other 20+ games I want into the 10 games or so I can afford!
Yeah I've pre-ordered both consoles and the ONLY game I've pre-ordered so far is Destiny. That being said there's a metric crap ton of other games I want but I'm not 100% on which I'm gonna plunk cash down on right away just yet.
It might not do too much in the meantime but I sat through the demo as well and the gameplay, up to this point in development at least, looks very solid. With any luck they release a bit more to tease folks soon!
I'm assuming you missed the actual title and the whole first paragraph and went right into rant mode? The only Q1/2 games we're missing are some indie titles that will be featured on their own. Perhaps when you add part 1 up with part 2 when it drops this list won't offend you so deeply.
