I can't help but laugh that everyone is praising Nintendo for it's hardware yet almost no one actually bought their last console! On a personal level I do own a WiiU and I love it to death but man the numbers just aren't there. I wish it sold better so the argument could be put to bed but it hasn't so while I might not agree myself it still is a valid discussion to have.

Doesn't make the point any less valid though. The article has legs to stand on and isn't just throw away. It's smart to capitalize on what people are talking about. Not the first site/writer on the planet to do that I'm sure.
Sure they're using a pop culture reference to generate interest but what they say about each game is pretty on point I think. It's def not just a throw away article, it makes valid points.

They might! They do treat Marvel and hopefully Star Wars/Indiana Jones etc as their own entities. It'd be nice to see them allow characters to be portrayed as they should be.

I laughed pretty hard picking up on 'derp' in the URL. It amazes me how much people concern themselves with sales numbers of these things. Are you really gonna get worked up over lining some CEO's pockets with your hard earned money? I could not possibly care even a little bit less about it at all.
Just gimme the games and I'll play them on my machines. I don't play favorites so whether it's a PS4 game or an XB1 game I don't care. Great games deser...
Not to say that the 3 million mark is an absolute truth on Microsoft's part but this article screams rampant fanboyism by the way it's written. What does a bunch of pictures of Xbox One boxes mean? There could have just as easily been a stack of PS4 boxes in the corner they didn't take a picture of, lol.

I wrote a preview article after seeing it that sums up all my early thoughts quite nicely.
After seeing the demo at E3 I admit I walked away a little wary about how this one was going to turn out. I have high hopes for it... I mean it's the bloody godfather of stealth games! Since E3 I've seen many changes made that really turned it around in the right direction. I'm fully on the hype train for Thief... CAN. NOT. WAIT.
Choosing one is near impossible really but I know that what usually keeps me coming back to a game is a story that I need to see through. There's been the odd occasion where I suffer through mediocre gameplay just to see the story to its conclusion.

I had a hell of a lot of fun with the beta for sure. In a 6 person party via XBL it was crazy fun even when we were getting our asses served to us on a platter. Most of what the writer points out isn't a deal breaker anyways, just some minor gripes overall, a few of them totally patchable if they ended up actually being an issue.
I'll still be purchasing the game, no doubt about that.
