Screens no. 5 & 7 look pretty realistic. If they're actual in-game shots, then Forza 3 doesn't stand a chance.
The visual improvements are impressive indeed. I'm just not too excited about the obvious performance drop that comes with it, at least until it's properly optimized. But still, AMAZING.
To the bitter UC2 fanboys - Eat your heart out, fellas. That right there is what we, PC gamers, like to call "real next-gen visuals".
Ahhhh....yes, this is the real deal. Reminds me why I'm a PC gamer.
....or EA/DICE gets a middle finger from me, just like Acti*what's-their-name*. PC games need another "Crysis" type game which is free from console-limitations. Crysis is 2 years old already and still unmatched in terms of visual quality. Two years is a LOT of time to show the "next-gen" gaming quality that only the PC is capable of doing.
I've never been a big fan of "ooh amazing gfx = best game ever" types. But I just don't think graphics like that are acceptable. I mean, that's basically Modern Warfare 1 with a few updates, don't we usually call those 'expansion packs'?
I disagree about being satisfied with a specific set of graphics. If we do that, we lose the potential for improvement, that chance to expand and become better. A franchise that isn't constantly progressing or moving forward is stale, o...
Well, the good thing was that you can actually bleed to death from a single bullet wound and it's not raining frag-grenades all the time, unlike some *cough* other war games *cough* that i know.
Besides, with a "certain developer's" refusal to go next-gen, don't expect a real "full scale war" anytime soon. At least it didn't have annoyingly suicide-happy enemies that just wont stop re-spawning until you reach a checkpoint.
@ FantasyStar - HAHA! Yo...
...a game where reflex doesn't do much for you, where you have to actually use your tactical wits rather than just run-n-gun. Oh yeah, it's my kinda game.
Majority of the people who complain are either -
1) those who can't accept the fact that, in reality you can't just survive a dozen bullets cause you have the "Juggernaut" perk.(Much like Sly Stallone in those Rambulls**t movies.)
2) those who, unfortunately, are not blessed with enough brain power to make...
Same old EA, blaming customers when their half-assed products fail.
"How's your tooth-fairy wings coming along? And your glittery magic wand....WAHAHAHAHAHA..."

Somebody should try to get him to do a new Max Payne game. That would be great.
Yeah, sure. A new API = better hardware performance, right? Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out that way for DX10. And knowing Microsoft, it probably won't for DX11 as well. Don't get me wrong, I want it to work. But so far, the margins are much too small to be considered a success.
50% of those games are on the PC as well. The better ones to be precise. Let's not forget that.
COD4 last stand was totally unexpected and amazing. It left me speechless and wanting to replay the scene all over again. As much as I hate Activision and their CEO, COD4 was undeniably great.
This was why we had to wait? Screw that. I don't see any significant improvements over conventional DX9 or DX10 features. Why can't devs just be honest and say they delayed it to prevent loss of sales due to piracy?
Well put. Bubbles for you....
"...bang a Pikachu..." What???? o_0
lol....look who's talking. "Repetitive" defines Ubisoft games.
By whose standards? This is coming to the PC as well. That's not exclusive in any way. Crysis, MGS4, Uncharted 2, Halo 3 are exclusives. SC:C is NOT an exclusive.
...that after a long 6 months, we will be given a half-hearted, poorly ported PC version. Just like EA is feeding us crappy PC versions of their FIFA series.
Oh really? Didn't they say that with AC, PoP and FarCry 2? We all know how those turned out.....
I know. Right? I mean, here I was thinking, "UC2 does looks pretty good. Consoles are getting very close indeed." Then, I see this and I go, "Oh wait, scrap that. PC is still light-years ahead." *giggles*
