There's never been a better time? I joined on Day 1 and I think that was the best time to join the community of well-read gamers.
Will take a lot more than one videogame to change that demographic.
Have a listen in on a few games of COD and the extent of the problem will rear its ugly head.
Largest fanbase? Not sure NA is bigger than Europe for PS4s...
Perhaps the most entitled bunch of gamers, which is why you think that they're doing this to alienate you...
Multiplayer only in a game like BF is fine. But Tom Clancy games have previously had good campaigns, so it's an omission.
But the main point here is that based on the BETA, the full game multiplayer is going to be barebones as f%#k so it's not ok...
Ok Lipton, but have you played either of them? Or are you just talking cr@p?
If you'd played Broken Age or Super Meat Boy, you'd realise that these were far from awful. Or you just have appalling taste.
Spoiler alert - Super Meat Boy! One of the greatest platformers ever
I'm glad I don't have to play alongside people like who wrote this article when MGO3 launches.
If you can't tolerate the credits at the end of a mission, try pressing the X button instead of whining. You'll find that you've skipped the credits screen and can therefore sleep easy. I'm amazed how many people have said t hey hate watching the credits after each mission. Then skip them you simpletons!
Isn't editing for correcting errors rather than writing Edit?
Cargo plane for me, the way that scene ends is off the chart!
I'm not saying 3D and VR are the same things. I'm saying people had a problem with wearing 3D glasses. It wasn't that the quality wasn't good because 3D became pretty good pretty quick.
People just won't be willing to sit there with a bulky headset on their heads to play games. I agree that this is just the first iteration and that in a few years time this is a possibility, but this is going to sink next year. I'll PM you next year to remind you how st...
The only thing that makes me sick is that intelligent people like John Carmack actually think that VR is going to take off when this all launches. I'm sorry but if people found wearing 3D glasses too much, then obviously VR is going to fail. It might be a good experience but it's a gimmick.
People want to game with a controller and dems da facts.
Thanks for the valuable input. You haven't played it and you'll need to play a few games and see how it is. Thanks
There's 11 maps, and 6 additional operators.
Doesn't this make this a full price game? I'm afraid I don't think it does. When they played it internally, did no one else not notice how dull proceedings are? There are some great moments in the gameplay, but the menu between matches has got to be the dullest thing ever, with almost no music / sound. And given I have to stare at it for 40 seconds (Yup) between every round, to choose 2 things, they should either re...
The games will also be cheaper than when they were first released won't they? Not the smartest argument I've ever heard.
Ok but I still think £140 is way too much for all of this.
It's not a good business practice to sell this for such a ridiculous price, off the back of the current expansions but as you've proven, there are suckers out there who will gladly be milked to kingdom come. I'm not one of those suckers.
The biggest issue here is the fact it's £40 for new players and about £140 for the loyal players.
So I'm not coming back.
Gameplay is good but the time between rounds (not talking about matchmaking issues) is truly mental. I don't need 40 seconds for 2 selections and neither do my other able-bodied companions. There's a max of 5 kills per 5 minutes so this long break and dullest menus ever make this quite a sedate affair.
And trolling people can literally kill the whole game - all it takes is one guy to start shooting the team in the back and that's the round completely ruined. Was e...
I doubt you share common ground with anyone
Wow, that's some tirade. Not that I have time to read the other 90% of it.
But hype can be created by a lot of things other than facts -nostalgia, brand loyalty, marketing etc?
Destiny hype was huge, didn't turn out as good as people hoped. It's hard to know what the 'facts' are before a game is out.
