Xbone is still having severe difficulty reaching 720p according to the Battlefront beta, how you think that's going to hold up to the best console graphics this generation? Pretty flippin' terribly!
It's absolutely no surprise they had to compromise somewhere. I mean battlefront is 720p for Christ sake, there's a serious lack of horsepower here...blame Kinect!
It was £50 for the game which included 10 maps and a whole load of weapons.
It was then £40 for 20 maps about 25 extra weapons. Not bad value really, but not all of the DLC maps were all that great.
Hoping Battlefront can change things up with significant DLC as the Star Wars Universe is pretty big...

A little off the mark here. Day 1 patches are the developer fixing things.
Microtransactions are scams. Quite different. Just so you know, you don't 'have' to sit through these downloads. You can just pause them and start the game without the patch. Then patch it while you sleep.

I see it as a fad. The masses didn't tolerate 3D glasses, if you think they'll tolerate strapping a screen to your face, I think you're the one in for a rude awakening.
Gaming with a controller is best, that's why it's done this way and not much has changed in this regard. I don't want to be running around my living room just to collect a few coins in Mario.
Yeah well I was in the beta early for the technical test and all I can say is that you didn't miss much. The idea is great, and it plays well, but it's an FPS shooter where there are 5 kills in every 6 minutes which unfortunately means it gets boring very quickly.

Ok, blame Dice for it, but you know they didn't create the console right? Them not reaching 1080p doesn't really mean anything. Some games have better FX rather than resolution. Battlefront on PS4 looks amazing at 900p, but Xbone stutters at a jaggy 720p. It's got nothing to do with Dice...
