Because I own both games and can comment that if I want to.
And it still doesn’t look as good as Uncharted 4.
Wow... seems like an awful lot for a game that was considered by most be subpar.
I’m honestly not expecting TLoU 2 in 2018, nor do I really want it be. It only recently hit full production, and I don’t want ND to rush it out to meet a deadline; if waiting until 2019 or later means we’ll get yer another ND masterpiece, then so be it.
Ghost of Tsushima might be a 2018 title, since it’s been in development for so long, but same story with that game as will TLoU 2. There will be plenty of games to play through next year. I can wait for another masterpiece....
Close, maybe, but it’s not likely going to top it. As it stands, PS4 is on track to reach 100 million sold in less time than it took PS2 to do so, but it will fall behind. Unless PS5 is a PS3-level sales travesty or we don’t see it until after 2020, PS4 won’t have the advantage of selling very well after PS5 launches. Either way, it’s looking to do 125 - 130 million, which is still extremely good.
I’m interested in seeing if the rumor about another PSAS is true. If Sony has both Crash and Spyro secured, along with their own mascots, that game can be far more successful than the first. Only time will tell if it’s a real thing. Fingers crossed for PSX.
Possibly, but I don’t see why it would matter. Sony’s more than smart enough to realize that the main consumer base for X will be the super devoted Xbox cheerleaders who already own 3 - 5 Xbone’s, and would still buy the thing if it were literally but a turd in a box with the Xbox logo branded on it. They’re nothing but an irrelevant minority of non-gamers who claim Nintendo and Sony need to do better with games, while pretending that getting Crackdowngrade 3 after 4 years is totally great. I...
Yes, because Xbox NEVER announces exclusives years ahead to try and fluff up their lineup. Cuphead and Crackdowngrade 3 totally did NOT get announced back in 2014, while games like SoD 2 and Sea of theives were NOT announced in 2015.
Sounds to me like you’re just butthurt that not only is Xbox’s multipla- I mean “exclusive” lineup filled to the brim with a bunch of old games, they’re games that look like utter garbage. Enjoy being in the tiny minority of people that actual...
It’s not associated with maturity; it’s the simple fact that Sony knows that the game catered to more mature audiences, and logically expects that said audiences can see violence and not be a bunch of crybaby little snowflakes about it. In other words, stop getting butthurt because not every game is a blinder for you to a reality that can sometimes be shitty.
@WeAreLegion That’s actually exactly what MS did in the beginning with studios like Bungie. The fact is though that you can’t simply throw money in every direction and make true talent. Most of the companies that MS bought out, or did a hostile takeover of, lost the majority of their best employees because they knew MS’s history and had no interests working for them. Fun fact: did you know Sucker Punch, the studio behind several PS exclusives, used to be a part of MS before Xbox was a thing? ...
The X’s specs are nothing more than desperation. MS knows their first party is garbage; that’s why they’ve underperformed at every turn this generation, with the exception of Forza. They’re trying to regain their position as the best console for multiplats, but Sony has already beaten them at that game by having the much cheaper console, as well as the majority of marketing deals. Not to mention, Sony’s exclusive lineup is incredible. Nothing MS could announce will get the same reaction that ...
Nintendo used to do exactly that, when they thought they owned the console market, before Playstation stepped in. That’s why third parties hated them for decades, and many still do.
People don’t seem to understand how the industry works; yes, Switch hardware can sell very well, but that doesn’t mean that Switch owners by and far will choose it as their platform for third party titles, especially if they own other hardware. With Switch’s significantly weaker hardware and 360 Games going to the way of the dodo, it’s gonna mean that third party developers are going to have to make unique versions of their games for the system. If the games already released don’t sell, the m...
The first story with Ellie and Joel takes place 20 years after the outbreak, and Ellie was only 14, so we know that her mother had to survive at least 6 years into the outbreak. This could be the opening, and she dies, but she could also still be alive. Who knows?
You know, we are talking about a post apocalyptic world overrun with cannibalistic mushroom people; having a good physique, regardless of gender, is far more practical and useful than looking pretty. Just sayin. She’s honestly not bad looking.
She’s also not that jacked; just very toned. If you’re a male and she’s bigger than you, the problem isn’t unrealistic design; it’s that you need to go lift bro. lol
I don’t think they are. They blatantly showed a woman getting her elbow smashed in a with a hammer lol
That kindof sucks if true, but meh. I haven’t even started MGSV yet, and next month is bringing CoD, BF2, and NFS; doubt I’ll be desperate for PS Plus offerings.
PSX bro. It’s already been confirmed that the game will be at PSX. This was just a small taste to get Europe in on the game as well.
Because time and time again, we’ve seen Naughty Dog’s work in action and know that what they show and what we get to play are one in the same. Where PS-haters like to automatically cry “CGI!” Or “Cutscene!”, we know better because we actually play the games. Look at the comparison between UC4’s E3 2015 gameplay and the full release; the release is actually an upgrade. Naughty Dog are masters of engineering and the only people denying that are PS-haters who don’t even play their games.
Just looking at your replies, you are trying way too hard. I’ve played all 4 main Gears titles, and they are far from “gory” or “graphic”; just a bunch of over the top cartoon characters getting limbs blown off. Gears is like the video game equal to Happy Tree Friends, in terms of violence. You clearly never played TLoU, so stop pretending to justify your failed bs.
Also, I guess you convently missed the part in the trailer where one guy got hit in the jugular by an arrow,...
