@darthv72 every major multiplayer multiplat to date has sold millions more on PS4. Multiplats in general sell significantly better on PS4. There are over 30 million concurrent PS + users. Yes, PUBG would be far more successful on That PS4. #Facts
Depends on if internet speeds in the markets get better, or get worse.
Literally all old sports games, besides Destiny, on the PS4 side. Games that literally probably don’t have online servers or even a community. Pass.
Oh, I read it as SNES. Why do they have a picture of the SNES classic? Bad article lol
I got mine at Best Buy months ago. Glad to hear they’re not dropping it like the NES classic
I might have to pick one of these up. I love my Golds, but they broke, and the $160 Turtle Beach set I bought is absolute trash.
I’m curious about Smash. Is it going to be a Wii U port + DLC, or is it going to be its own game? I’m fine with either, but if it’s the Wii U port, I hope they add on to it by including some kind of adventure mode, like the Subspace Emissary from Brawl.
It’s still listed as a first half of 2018 release, Until we get confirmation of otherwise.
Either way, I don’t think Spider-Man has to worry about RDR2.
A Way Out looks good; it’s mostly the publisher that makes it feel iffy.
Different genres, different preferences. Nothing wrong with action games, but there’s nothing wrong with linear choice-based games either. To each their own.
Depends, I guess. EA is greedy, no doubt, but they’re not evil. They simply mess around with a portion of our entertainment needs and make use of frustrating business practices, but the fact is you don’t NEED EA’s products in your life. There’s US corporations out there that definitely do things that are just down right sadistic, things that do have a genuine effect on people’s lives. I’d argue that most major pharmaceutical companies are far worse than EA could ever be.

What they fail to realize is that if by some tiny chance this actually happened, it wouldn’t automatically make future installments of EA franchises exclusive to Xbox. No doubt, Sony and EA have contracts going for several years from now about titles coming to PlayStation. MS’s purchase would mean they would still have to honor these contracts.
Regardless, it’s highly unlikely.
Only if EA wants to be bought. A company can’t just buy another on a whim. EA would have to be facing financial troubles so bad that they either choose to sell themselves off, or they sell enough shares for a company like MS to do a hostile takeover. Neither are even remotely likely because EA is doing perfectly fine. In case people forgot, all that stock value they lost from BF2 came back pretty much over night. Plus, they’re not exactly the type of company that likes to sell; they’re more t...
This years year’s first party lineup is much stronger than last year’s, especially in terms of western appeal. We won’t know if PS4 has peaked until we see how it performs at the permanent $200 price tag. Black Friday week taught us to not rule out PS4 being able to still sell out at retailers. I would not be surprised if Sony could manage to sell upwards of 22 million consoles this year, and break through the 100 million mark by the end of FY2018.
The Atari Jaguar was the most powerful console of its time by a huge margin. You think people considered that to be king over the SNES and Genesis?
Slightly better textures and resolutions means nothing when the few “exclusives” are also on PC, and none of them look like anything special.
He’s from the time when Sony was a $200 billion corporation that was changing the face of technology. I think that’s a good sign he has some ideas up his sleeve.
I’m not sure that Switch will have anything this year that will be a potential GotY contender. PS4 already has several possibilities.
If the next CoD is BO4 or the rumored Vietnam CoD, then it’s game over. Sony is going to annihilate the holidays with that marketing deal.
PS4.
Already own a Pro. Not gonna bother wasting $500
