Are you making this only now because of the news that it’s insomniac’s most successful title ever? If any reboot ever got it right, it would be this game, and I’ve played and finished every R&C game except for FFA. This game hit all the right notes, and did a wonderful job at recreating nostalgia, while still feeling new. I honestly like how they applied the more mature, yet almost child-like, persona from the later games to Ratchet in this one. As much of a classic the original will alwa...
I’ll do it for trophies, but yeah they tend to feel rough, especially in the inFamous games
We are coming to that point where graphics are going to veer off. There will be improvements, but theyll steadily become less and less noticeable. The days of PS2 to PS3 upgrades are long gone.
Better than 0p/ 0 FPS on other platforms, because, you know... It’s a real exclusive.
And then Dino Crisis 3 was an absolute travesty that ruined a franchise that had so much potential to be the next Resident Evil
The point is, if you can make a ridiculous statement, so can I. The second part of my comment was more so directed at you.
But don’t you know? If a game uses the same camera angle as another, that classifies them as the same exact game! /s
I’ve legit heard some PlayStation haters call TLoU and Horizon the same exact game, while claiming Forza MS and Forza Horizon are two completely different and unique franchises lol
And having power means nothing when you release single A quality cartoon games, and rely on the same 3 tired franchises.
Considering their games for the most part review/ sell fairly well, you’re clearly in the minority on that opinion. Sony is releasing games that the developers want to make, and people want to play. You don’t like them, that’s fine, but calling people corporate slaves because they do is just petty.
Had the best looking console exclusives at launch, still has the best looking console exclusives now. I remember when Xbox fanboys were so desperate, they were comparing Ryse to Second Son, which was completely laughable lol
When has CoD died or gone on hiatus though? You may not like them, but tens of millions of people do, and buy it every year. People seriously need to shut up and leave that franchise alone. It’s not hurting anyone, and the whining is seriously getting old.
This is definitely one of favorite franchises (Kat is waifu lol), and this one in particular is in my top 5 PS4 exclusives, but the servers really didn’t do much to add to the game, so I’m not sure why this is such a big deal to people. As far as I know, the online functions weren’t required for platinum, but I’m not 100% on that one.
I’d say so, yeah lol
As long as it’s not forced or used as a marketing play, I couldn’t care less, so long as Sony’s WWS continue to put out high quality games.
Hence why I said many, and not all. Just beating all the bosses on Regular is enough for me. Maybe I’ll play it more, but I simply didn’t enjoy a single second of my playthrough, and the whole “git gud” gateway BS, for a game that revolves around randomness and luck, makes me care about the game even less.
@Getbacktogaming I own a copy of Crash Trilogy on PS4. I only finished 2 & 3 though because those were there only ones I liked back in the day. Was never a fan of the first, and just didn’t feel like finishing it.
@Captain I would agree with you, but the problem is that that’s the entire game: long drawn out boss fights, clutter hell, no checkpoints, and an extremely unforgiving health system. The King Dice boss fight was a true test of sanity, especially since I could...
Sure lol
Call me weird, but something about the repetition and watching the world map slowly clear up as you progressed was just incredibly satisfying to me. I only played it because of PS +, but it was good imo
I actually really liked her as a character, but that just be because she was the only attractive female in the game’s entire world lol
I just finished it yesterday. Besides the artstyle, it was a terrible game. It’s one thing for a 2D platformer to be difficult through requiring you to move and shoot with precision in a set pattern, but it’s another for it to just clutter your screen with the most random crap and base the gamer’s ability to dodge an attack or projectile off of luck alone. Not to mention, mechanics like parrying would too result in you doing it successfully, but still somehow taking damage. Also, what kind of...
I honestly have only seen a very small amount of genuine R&C fans not like this game.
