You tell us. We’re not the ones deflecting our fantasies lol
Im sorry that Phil doesn’t love at all to even consider a reach around lol
I feel like people are simply doubting Kojima all of the sudden because he’s making a PS exclusive. I mean how dare he support Sony with his talents on an exclusive game after they helped him financially with his legal issues with Konami, and then helped him build a new studio, and have access to their engine. The nerve of some people!
Achievement/ Trophy system?
Hmm. I’m still debating on picking this one up. I would love to relive my Banjo Kazooie days, but I remember hearing how short and empty this game felt, plus it had some serious control issues. Does anyone know if the control issues were ever fixed?
MAG was, and still is, the best MP game I’ve ever played. Way ahead of its time though, and I’d love to see Sony give that another shot.
On another note, it’s good to hear PS higher ups are still looking back on the early PS3 days and embracing them as mistakes. It’s a good indicator that they’re more than aware of why PS3 had a rough start, and have zero intention of making the same mistakes. Knowing the amount of money Sony lost in PS3’s first 4 years, this comes as no surprise. I have a good feeling about PS5.
Sony really does need to capitalize on the opportunity they have right now. With PSN more popular than ever, and their exclusive franchises being pretty successful as of late, now is the best time for them to put some serious emphasis on at least one or two multiplayer-focused titles. They don’t need to saturate them like they did on PS3, but having a couple to compliment their current lineup will definitely be great for them in the long run, especially if they can bring an established IP lik...
I’ve always thought the rules of these are pretty dumb. It basically devalues game completion
Yeah, because few signatures are totally going to convince a developer to end a game that’s pulling in over $300 million a month lol
Achievement system?
@Skull They didn’t screw SOCOM up. They simply aimed 4 at a different audience since Confrontation was already available on PS3 to cater to the hardcore fans. SOCOM 4 wasn’t a bad game by any stretch, and there’s no reason why the franchise can’t make a comeback. As far as SOCOM being Sony’s best, that’s a relative statement. Sony has had many excellent franchises, and very few are “far” behind SOCOM in terms of quality
Eh. I’ll wait for hardware specs and games. I remember when Steam Machines and OUYA were going to “catch rivals cold” and dominate the market.
No, this is what they call professionalism. No matter how much you hate a job, if you get fired/ quit, one of the worst things you can do is make a stink about it or badmouth your previous employer after. Shit tends to follow you, even when you’re sure it’s not.
She really should come back to Sony. Guaranteed she will be more than welcomed. It’d be cool for her studio to become another first party team.
Maybe, but not likely. I imagine it’ll get delayed to late March, assuming Sony doesn’t have anything coming out around that time.
Was there ever a DK 3D platformer besides DK64? Nintendo seriously needs to invest in a new one.
February 22, 2019. Possibly going to change though, with all the games releasing that day.
We’ll see. I kindof doubt the Pro is going to be a one time thing, but who knows? Maybe Sony is going to release a truly powerful next gen system and be willing to take a loss for its first couple years.
