One of my favorite PS2 games. I will literally drop the games I'm currently playing to get into this. Really hoping the rumors of a sequel on PS4 are true.

So this is basically confirmation that Sony will be at the drawing board for PS5 as soon as Pro is out.

6 TFLOPS will be enough for just native 4K, but it's going to come at the cost of some serious performance issues. The whole "native 4K/ 60 FPS as the standard!" BS that M$ was touting some months back simply won't be the case.

I have a feeling BF1 will simply be native 1080p/ 60, and not use the checkerboard 4K. DICE is going to want to keep the 60 FPS, and I don't them being able to do so in 4K, seeing as standard PS4 is having some issues maintaining 900p.

It's the worst selling Nintendo handheld by far. Not only did it fail to meet the sales expectations set by DS, it failed to meet expectations of Nintendo portables in general. Did it sell horribly overall? No, but it didn't keep Nintendo in the dedicated handheld market either.

Considering that there are already several games that will support Native 4K on PS4 Pro, this is just another example of MS just flat out lying. They must think their fans are really stupid... Although, looking at the vocal Xbox fans on N4G and Youtube, they're not wrong.

Uuumm... Yes? Is that not blatantly obvious? The Switch is both Nintendo's next gen portable and home console. They're merging the two into one product. 3DS will not have a place once Switch is out, or at least I hope so. It would be stupid for Nintendo to put so much emphasis on portability, and then still make exclusives for a portable device that pretty much failed on the market.

Calling it "moderate" success is wording it very strangely. The device had limited shipments in Asian territories (50K in Japan,10K in China, etc.) and this suggests that it sold through every unit. I would call that a great success, seeing as demand is clearly much higher than Sony anticipated. If PS VR can sell 1 million + units before years end, that'd be amazing.

lol M$ lying and fudging the truth again. Funny how M$ pretends sales are irrelevant until they can fudge them for advertisement.

I'll never understand that mentality. PS4 has sold around 44 million. All PS home consoles have sold 85 - 157 million units. PS4 is just getting started on sales. The gen is far from over.

All the XBone S did was partially match the PS4 in quality. It's still missing features like being able to record games for more than 5 minutes. The 4K BR Player is completely irrelevant to gaming and the 4K BR format was literally dead before it even hit the market. Go to any store that sells them and take a picture of their "selection" and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Very easily so. With Pro around the corner, PS VR still having a potential to be a huge success, and some massive exclusives in the coming years, PS4 is still on track to sell anywhere from 110 - 120 million. It hasn't even hit it's peak year yet, and has easily sold over 44 million. already.

They're not outselling PS4 though. Are we seriously back to the 7th gen Xbot mentality of "Only teh USA countz!!!"?

So far in my playthrough, I can honestly agree with this score. The game is pretty boring. I can only play a couple sections before it starts to put me to sleep. I don't have XBL to try the MP or Horde mode yet, but the single player is not doing it for me. It's pretty, but that's about it to be honest.

I just bought RotTR for PS4. Looking forward to playing it. I think the false rivalry started with Xbox fans who realized they don't have any exclusive software that's in the same league as Uncharted, so they picked a multiplat to try and compare, like they have a strange tendency to do.

If you're implying they release a new game on one console one year, release a special edition version of the same game on the other console the following year, then rinse and repeat with the next game a year after that? No. Even with the heavy marketing push with the PS4 version, I don't foresee RotR selling very well on PS4. Nobody likes being told they have to wait a year to play the same game, with a couple DLC add-ons, because they didn't buy a particular console. Not everyone...

PS4 Pro isn't going to be the end all be all of 4K gaming, but it's certainly an excellent start at bring affordable 4K gaming into the home. If early previews of the tile rendered 4K are any indication, then games on PS4 Pro are going to still look phenomenal. Meanwhile, I'm sure Sony will be at the drawing board for PS5 and releasing a console that can deliver native 4K gaming with next gen graphics that will be mind blowing.

Maybe it was the sound quality, but that cover of The Beatles song, Come Together, was absolutely terrible lol

Sadly, when I became addicted to trophy hunting, gaming being a chore definitely became a thing for me. I've slowly been working my way out of it, and have actually found myself enjoying games more. Destiny, UC4 MP, and DOOM MP have been a huge help.
