Did that happen around here? Wow... MGS4's story is actually a major focus of the series. 60 years of continuity... fanboys suck. They sucked then, they suck now. But if people didn't complain then, then the double standards here are HILARIOUS.
This is not news, its someone complaining. Mods around here are a joke and need to pay attention to this crap. I don't care what system you prefer, you don't spoil a game for a fan.
At the same time, if you care that much about a story, get the hell off the web until you finish the game. I did it for MGS4, it's not hard to do.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at with that long post? Did I come off as a fanboy or something for simply not liking the story aspect of the game? That wasn't my intent as you can see.

This does shock me, and I'll politely disagree. The story felt cheesy, and the Dom's wife subplot felt forced and rather out of place. The game is a great, great action game. There's no need to hamstring a cheesy story...

Thanks, but what I meant was, can you set it to HOLD like cod4, so i don't have to click it on and off, just hold it. I prefer hold to toggle personally.
Can you customize controls per button?
Can you set zoom to hold instead of toggle like CoD4?
I can't wait to play this on my new 26" PC monitor. One thing Source is great for, low PC requirements!

Both have different art styles (which is subjective in reviewing) as well as different technical focus.
I'd say both games look damn good, but have a couple visual niggles in different areas. I don't see a need to compare them since they are different genres frankly.
Cool. Best pack in ever was still the Zone of the Enders game that came packed in with every copy of the MGS2:SoL demo though.

If I cared enough about the trolls here, I'd write up an article about how they are getting RAPED on HDD costs for their precious $199 console... 20gb eh? It is kinda awesome having a 320gb PS3.

People can deny it all they want, but the truth is, many media outlets are playing game politics instead of giving us informed reviews. Their bias shows through not necessarily in scoring, but in their writing. Gamedaily and Variety are a joke, to say the least, and if they were doing the same to quality 360 software, I would call them out on it as well. But it's just a LITTLE odd that EVERY PS3 exclusive is consistently downplayed while every 360 exclusive is praised despite just as many/if ...

Umm, let's be honest here, Halo 3 wasn't exactly a shining example of single playerness. Halo CE was great, Halo 2 was a letdown, and Halo 3 was a joke of an ending. But hot damn was the multiplayer kickass and the reason to keep coming back.
I disagree with their Campaign statements about Resistance 2. I would like to have Co-Op for the main game however.
I see no reason to pad Halo here in a Resistance review, especially ...
I really don't see Resistance 2 as overrated personally. I think its a great title, but flawed, just like any other title. Overrated this gen, in my opinion, would go to GTA4 and Halo 3. Then again, ratings should mean nothing to a smart gamer, as scores are OPINIONS, and everyone is entitled to one.
So Jenzo, you're entitled to your opinion, but I'll disagree.
