I agree. But for every instance you mention, you'll notice something different that is just as impressive. I've seen this played on a 46" HD monitor... its amazing to see the lighting setup just right so that you see your OWN real time shadow climbing the stairs. Or when you shoot something metallic, the sparks that bounce off the shot actually react to their environment, bouncing off other walls, coming to a rest, and slowly cooling. And that was just for a handgun round.
That's a sad mentality to have about ANY game.

I so agree. PS2 has probably one of the greatest libraries ever. The current gen just can't touch it for some reason IMHO.
The economy is in recession. Even if you are selling well, NO ONE should be "comfortable" with how things are in a sense. Hopefully our hobby is more recession proof than most, but if people can't pay the bills, even a $200 system is going to be overlooked this holiday.
I also urge everyone to help out this holiday season. We are all gamers after all, and many of us aren't suffering like many families. Help out by donating clothing, food, toys, etc to the needy!

What is up with marketing these days? I'm hearing nonstop articles about the NXE. I don't care about the NXE. Why can't I get news on FFXIII or GTAIV DLC. You know, news that matters. Such as... WTF IS IT? I'm sick of this "non-news" crap that the gaming industry is spreading on all systems.
