Sleeping dogs " you wan pork bun?"
EA (Extortionate Amounts)
Due to the ps3's poor architecture the 360 had an easier ride for the first few years last gen especially with multiplatform games, that is until the developers finally got their heads around how to develop for the ps3.
Microsoft won't get that free ride this time and their machine is already lagging behind in power after the first 3 months so it doesn't bode well for the next 7-8 years.
Tech gets cheaper to produce and that was released way before there was competition from the rift. If the rift is releasing at $400 the Sony HS will have to be priced competitively to that.
No totally disagree. What you will get is 1080p 60fps games but the games just won't have as much going on in them to trouble the ps4. People are assuming they will be playing current fps shooters on this, but like the article says the games will be built from the ground up. So expect shooters to be dialled back from the Michael bay experience and slowed right down. Games will be less Hollywood and more a simulation of real life which will give resources back to the ps4 which they can use...
I found myself at a bit in dark souls where I didn't know which way to go and the enemies were brutal in every direction to the point where I just lost interest. I'm willing to admit I probably took a wrong turn somewhere down the line but just a little bit of guidance wouldn't have gone amiss.
I don't mind dying over and over if I'm making progress or know where I'm heading but if I'm totally lost and dying repeatedly then it goes from being hard...
Once I've seen everything gameplay wise I tend to lose interest. That's why I seem to gravitate towards role players these days as constant upgrading means it never gets stale. The other alternative is a game with a good story like uncharted even though to be fair the gameplay was a genuine mix of different things which meant it didn't get boring anyway.
I suppose if I have the time and I set my mind to it I will play a game until it's done but will rarely sti...
Can't see any improvements over the last dark souls. Still the game is great,
I'll just pretend I didn't see number 2 because la noire was a stinking pile of %^*. It's even worse when it's in the list above eight absolute gems like final fantasy 7 and mass effect.
I mean for epic story telling final fantasy 7 beats all the other games on the list by a country mile anyway but that's a side argument.
If the potential is fulfilled which it sounds like it's certainly on track to be then it will sell.
A peripheral that puts you inside game worlds for £300, it can't fail.
Having accurate tracks doesn't make for a racing game that feels real to drive as the dev stated.
These ill informed comments won't matter one bit once this is released because "aliens" sells.
Even the abomination of colonial marines re-entered the uk top 10 chart over Xmas, which goes to show how many people buy games who don't know the first thing about what's good and what isn't.
All that's left to ponder is HOW successful the game will be. If it's a critical success then no doubt even the naysayers on here will be pic...
I just can't get hyped for this, it looks really good but I got burnt last time so bad waiting for pro evolution soccer to come out and it just wasn't what konami had promised us. So I'm going to wait for reviews on this first, I can't put myself through that pre-order hell again.... I just can't.
A prize goes to the first preview not to mention aliens colonial marines.
You might as well say I'm waiting for the reviews of the next call of duty game before I buy it because aliens CM was such a mess.
Totally different genre and developer, you can't compare isolation to CM

Intrigued by this title but I would really like to know how the formula we know about in the brief gameplay videos released thus far will translate over the course of a full game. Repetition and linearity are my major concerns so far.
On the plus side they appear to have nailed the atmosphere of the alien movie, I just hope when it comes to playing the full game that there's a little bit more to it than what we know other than moving from one area to the next with the on...
Ha ha someone at capcom hasn't done their math before opening their mouths. If this were true then there would be precisely no games out for any of the new consoles before ps5 and Xbox Two were released.
Intrigued by this game but I currently have more questions than answers right now.
First 5 minutes you are like "oh shut up performing for the camera" and after that you are thinking oh fuck he's not acting this is scaring the shit out of him
