That was my first thought. Torchlight rip off.
Yeah it's like paying for anynother COD annually. So, if you like COD, you can look forward to the annual release and a fee that's the price of another game. So they have gone from $60 + DLC to $120 + DLC. It's out of control, much like the US government.
He created the original Dead Space, but I have no idea why he left EA, oh yeah it was to make his own development house, which is a cool idea until Activision throws you on COD.
I cannot believe Mr. Scofield invisioned this. I bet he thought he was going to get an opportunity to create a game he wanted to make, instead he has been pulled into evilness, I wish him the best, but this Elite thing, if successful, will be a bane in the industry.
It's ...
Hope your right about Ninja Gaiden 3, glad they are bringing the blood back. I have NG2 on 360 and missed the blood on the NG Sigma 2 which I also have for PS3. I to am afraid for the DMC reboot. Bayonetta's combat system was awesome can't wait for a sequel.
I don't think it was consider a fail as much as it had a new emo character. The big problem was it was a half a game. Who thought it was ok to play half the game as the new character then backtrack thru levels again using Dante, should be shot.
I enjoy hack n slash, but there are only a few worth their weight anymore. I fear Ninja Theory will ruin this DMC game, I fear the Ninja Gaiden 3 reveal will confirm that game is ruined. Which will mean I can only hope Bayonetta 2 will not get ruined when we finally see that.
Yes I enjoyed Enslaved, it had a good story and characters worth investing time in, but as far as combat, it was underwhelming. Come to think of it, Heavenly Swords combo system wasn't that grea...
Overheating firearms is a poor design choice for a game series that envolves killing as many enemies as fast as possible, but now they want you to worry about your guns in addition to the enemies.....thats stupid. Reminds me of another Ninja Theory game, Heavenly Sword, correct me if I am wrong, but something was not right about that game. It's been 4 years now, but didn't you have to hold down both bumpers and time it just right to block...it was something counter intuitive I remem...
They already pretty much have most of this for Halo or have you never visited Bungie.net? Most of this stat stuff can be found there, along with daily challenges, in game hot spots, movie clips, community dates, etc.
Difference is that Activision is implementing the same thing Halo currently offers, but charging for it. I guess Activision figured they couldn't charge for multiplayer, because it would completely splitter their fanbase, so they will charge for social se...
I was kinda thinking the same thing as I was looking over the screenshots. It's kinda like what Bungie was offering from a stats point of view with Halo 2 forward with that franchise, but it looks like there have been more added in like playing certain match challenge set ups to add to the players career and guidance on improving.
I believe the annoucement of Bungie partnering with Acto was about a year ago, so I believe you hit the nail on the head. This smells like ...
With as long as PSN has been down and you would still not play your 360. Then why do you have one? Does not compute.
Even if PSN was encrypted with 512 bit cipher, I doubt they are saying "bring it".
proof is in the pudding. Sony took away Other OS and sued Geo and they have been under attack by hackers since.
Not taking any sides and I enjoy my PS3 and 360, but Sony brought this unto themselves. They heavily promoted "Other OS" and homebrew and then took it away and sued a hacker. This spurred a rallying cry in the hacker community. Sony is screwed until this dies down.
June 21. Same day as FEAR 3 and Shadows of the Damned.
Oh I getting Infamous 2. I platinumed the first, great franchise. I was just pointing out the big 3 overall is most hyped, but there are a ton of games in June. Nothing in July and nothing really in August until Dues Ex. So the glutton of games in June we tide us over thru the summer. So, unlike previous summers with game drought, we will have a back log of games to tide us over these summer months. Thats the only point I was trying to make.
Anyone else get a Metal Slug feel from this?
Oh yeah, forgot about this one, it's that strange noire looking title or maybe grindhouse looking. Actually I don't know what it reminds me of, just looks interesting, but I did not expect it this soon.
Other games in June are FEAR 3, Alice, Shadows of the damned, and Dungeon Siege 3. So I wouldn't say they are the biggest, just most advertised and hyped.
Hopefully the reviewer just got frustrated with the platforming. I will wait to see some more reviews, but I doubt I will buy this now. Will rent it if some other reviews are better cause I was looking foreward to this unique looking game. Oh well.
and it has nothing to do with advertising. First the cover system is not refined in QT like it is in Gears and the most important thing gunplay. The shooting in QT was all over the place. Gears was satisfying.
