I am looking forward to this game but not sure about buying it. It's a bit odd that it releases tomorrow and I have not seen one review yet. Often no early reviews spell trouble. Guess we will find out tomorrow.
It's not getting alot of press but I am looking forward to this game. It's twisted, has a unique environment, nice graphics, interesting puzzles, and the combat looks satisfying. I think I will buy it to support the developer.

I wasn't really trying to go off in a different direction, but I wasn't clear and to the point. What I was trying to say was that even though Activision is so crappy to their developers, and though I do not want to fund this kind of abuse by purchasing their games. I will have to purchase MW3, because they hit the target with me by having a survival mode.
Consider how many developers are getting screwed out of revenue because of this. It's sad. The online was down nearly a month and the store is heading toward two months offline. Wonder if Sony is funding some of these developers that have not received any revenue for over a month?
This game is going to be great. I platinumed the first so the trophy reward perks that carry over from 1 to 2 is a smart move by sucker punch. For all those that have not played the first but want to play the second, I suggest you get hopping. The story carries over and so does rewards.
But I have always been a fan of survival modes. Whether it's Horde, Firefight, Zombies, etc. Having leaderboards, matchmaking, and being able to play it on the multiplayer maps is a smart move by the developers for MW3. I will purchase this game now, because if the sp and mp turns out crap, my friends and I can still play survival, which should work on any dlc mp maps afterword. This is where zombies fails, you can't play it on all maps, only specific made maps which is limiting. ...
I read an article recently that Kojimi Productions has passed MG Rising development onto Platinum Games to finish. Platinum Games current project Anarchy Reigns has been delayed, So, this is making sense now, if Kojimi announces a proper MGS sequel and is working on HD remasters (as been mentioned), who knows ZOE sequel or an arcade game version maybe announced. They can only work on so many games at once. So I believe the rumor about MG Rising now more than ever.
You said "At least with COD we know were getting an amazing game". How can you say COD is automatically amazing. The last amazing COD was the first MW, since then each game has been crappier.
It is sad really. We deserve better. The gaming community has made COD the biggest success this generation and you know what we get in return, same crappy graphics and sterile look game after game. With as much money as this franchise has made....each new COD game should look cutting edge if not techinically at least from an art standpoint. It's such a missed oportunity.

The graphics have not been improved as the Acto (Activision) PR guy stated. I see a sterile looking game with saturation toned down to look like BF3. The explosions and particle effects are MW2 and Blops effects.

Agreed, everyone is acting like this is a Rockstar game but it's not. Team Bondi has been working on this for years.
This is a misconception. The main developers on this game were Team Bondi. Rockstar had a little input, but this isn't a full fledge game of theirs. So lets give credit where credit is due. Excellent job Team Bondi.
Activision has no vision at all. Not only are they copying Crysis 2, but they are copying their own premise in Prototype 1 & 2. Kotick figures that NYC is the new WW2 or Vietnam for games.

Not taking any sides but Brink and Homefront are crap games so I wouldn't use those as examples. Most importantly where did you get the idea Crysis 2 is better on PS3? At minimum the 360 version performs better than the PS3 especially in the framerate department.

I was thinking the same thing. It can be an excellent game all around, but if the controls are clunky it's got take a score hit so, OXM is caught up in the hype and instead of giving the game a 9.0 which sounds right, they got caught up in the "OMG it's Rockstar" and gave it a perfect score.
Industry wide game journalist seem to blow a load over anything Rockstar.

LOL, video game developers are NOT so called "important people". Also, celebrities are far from important as well. Find out whats really going on in your respective countries and communities and you will found out who really is important.
