I was hesitant of a new Halo trilogy when it was first announced, but from what I've heard/seen/read, I think 343 will do the series justice.

Take a look at the new Need for Speed: Most Wanted. All cars and tracks are unlocked from the beginning, the player does not need to work through the game unlocking everything before they use specific cars in mp.

All the director said when asked what differs from what the author viewed as similar games was he thought Splinter Cell was based more in realism in terms of enemies and locations, events, etc.

I think EB and PAX are two different shows, catering to different audiences.
I got the impression that EB Expo, especially the staff working, were too over-the-top in pushing sales.
I think PAX suits a totally different market.

Can't understand why Activision are so unfriendly toward the media at EB Expo.
It sure sends the signal that they are trying to prevent damaging reports before the game hits release.
People should be able to have a crack at dressing up if they like, but I agree, some people just try to pull off characters they just shouldn't attempt.
The great thing about gaming expos and the like is that it gives people who Cosplay a sense of community.
While I was there, everyone was complementing each other on their outfits, and the general public were appreciative of their efforts.
The amount of time and money put into some of the costumes there is amazing.
Give me the ability to attack an objective in a multitude of ways and I'm a happy man.
I made an ARG last semester during University. Worst experience of my life. However I think one with the backing of Assassin's Creed would be much better.
The Dark Knight ARG was fantastic. Effective way to pump people up just prior to the release of the game/movie.
