Truly nothing more satisfying than nailing a perfect run through a level.

I enjoyed it overall. The combination of the game's components made it work.

Plus the combat reminded of The Warriors a little released back on the Xbox and PS2.

I agree it has the potential to be a sleeper hit.

Remember Me has some big shoes to fill if it wants to be anything like Deus Ex. Let's hope so.

Cannot wait for Crysis 3 or Dead Space 3. Even though Dead Space 3 is moving toward a more action orientated focus, it's still a visceral (pun intended) experience.

I love all these little Indie type games. Games like Limbo and Braid have just as much quality as most AAA titles.

It's disappointing it's not Doom 4, but it's Doom nonetheless. Favourite Shotgun out of any series.

Reminds me a lot of Child of Eden, one trippy but amazing game.

I thought the original was a hidden gem for sure. Very underrated.

I just hope the delay in release was for the better, it would be a shame to see a promising premise tank.

I think if the game was more fairly priced, instead of full retail, more people would more than likely give this game a chance.

As hardly anybody is going to pay full price for around 2 hours of gameplay.

I was happy with Halo 3, and I had little interest in ODST and Reach. I thought the series had peaked at nummber 3, but Halo 4 has me back into the series, looks to be different enough to be refreshing.

They're alright, but I just prefer trailers made from actual gameplay footage, gives a better representation of the game IMO.

While I can understand where all the negativity was coming from, I just hope this doesn't set a precedent where players will campaign to alter a game's ending just because they personally didn't like it.

It's a tough balance between pleasing the audience and taking the author's work for what it is.

True, not to mention that the length of the campaign is getting closer to the length of a movie as well!

I remember reading somewhere a while ago that Activision had registered domains for Black Ops 2-8, so they'll keep chugging them out unless the masses start refusing to buy the same old stuff.

The CoD franchise has become less challenging and more predictable over time, so I think that a 1, maybe 2 year gap between the next game could do wonders. Give them time to refresh the series, and truly leap forward in place of rehashing with minor changes.

Then ag...

Don't know whether it's an increase in skills over time, but I felt that CoD4 Veteran was much harder than Veteran of CoD 5 - 8.

CoD 4 wasn't too bad, except for the already mentioned Mile High and Pripyat Extraction.

However I think the difficulty is no match for the original Ninja Gaiden on the hardest difficulty. O Lordy.

Maybe some people have no will of their own, if they see a hughly popular game, even though they hate it, somehow it means they have to play it lol.

I seriously don't know why some people don't put more time and effort into concentrating on games they actually like.

I just think it's funny that the author uses others' opinions in an article headed with franchises that HE hope will die.

Using the excuse that there are too many games in a series, thus you are bored, gets a bit old pretty quick.

Absolutely right.

The original was criminally overlooked, such a worthwhile game.

The sequel is quite good in it's own right, although it is quite short compared to the original. Left it open for a 3rd game for sure.

Really good choices.

Alan Wake was one of the reasons I bought a 360, I was satisfied once it was finally released after being delayed for so long!

MGS Collection is another quality gem, especially for those like myself who never played the originals on the Playstation. Right up there with Orange Box quality.

Hopefully Metro 2033 gets a bit more attention once 2034 is closer to release.

I know it's a few years old now, bu...

Skyrim comes close to fulfilling all these.

Obviously you can go where you want, although the narrative is more focussed on lore than a story driving the player. The player is slapped into a historic world.

There is no real morality system in placed, but your actions in game allow for both "good" and "bad" choices.

One can also overcome enemies/obstacles in various ways depending on their specific character, be it Warrior...
