Nice to hear a richly created world is being created along with all the new gameplay innovations.
Always up for a new experience, a new take on things. Looking forward to what these guys produce.
I still much prefer my single player experiences over multiplayer games/modes.
I just think it's a massive call to throw out in the first 1/4 of the year.
Tomb Raider was a really polished title, worthy enough to give Infinite a run for it's money so far.
TLoU looks impressive, as does Metro: Last Light. SC: Blacklist looks like it might recapture the magic of early SC games, and Watch Dogs intrigues me as a new IP.
Not to mention GTA V, as Rockstar are known for creating quality games.
There i...
It's a big call. Sure, it's a great game from what I've played so far, but GOTY? Time will tell.
One polished mechanic cannot make up for an otherwise dodgy game.
I'm just happy to finally see a new Thief game.
Doesn't hurt to see it looking great. It's in safe hands.
It's good, caters for all prices and involvement people are willing to commit to.
Personally, as long as it has the game, I'm happy.
Depending on the game/franchise, I'll occasionally splash out on an extra figurine or whatever.
Whether there is too much choice shouldn't really be a major focus - it's not integral to the game experience.
I personally believed the series should have stopped at 3.
Such a great example of how to revamp a tired series.
Excited for the Tomb Raider future.
I'm fairly sure the guys at Ubisoft always said the series always allowed them to chop and change back and forth through time.
Especially now as players are not Desmond, reliving his ancestors memories, it opens up potential to play as characters from different regions/countries.
I think if they balance the present day timeline more effectively, it will more likely lead to a greater experience compared to the Desmond storyline.
That bombed so bad.
I'm glad to be playing as a more intriguing character this time around, not to mention leading enemy ships into violent storms.
Sure does a great job of making you feel like a badass.
A nice change from aliens, space and military shooters.
Eager to see the final result for myself when I get my hands on the game.
While it's true most games never had campaigns of this length, it's more highlighting the fact that say FPS and Action/Adventure campaigns would regularly take this amount of time, compared to today.
I love games that just dump players into a world, and give them the tools to make their own stories.
2017 amps this tension even higher, and I for one cannot wait for the standalone release.
I was a bit hesitant on the path DS3 was heading toward, but now I can't wait to get my hands on it.
It goes to show not all games have to take themselves seriously.
