That's no news at all. Last I heard Bayonetta 2 was under 135K in the US. If anything it just shows the average US gamer has no taste.
Speaking of taste. Bayonetta 2 has allegedly soled about 60K copies in France alone!

I know the internet likes to poke fun at French people, but look...
I'm not impressed at all.
TBH I'm even more sceptical than I was before.
As far as I can tell, if DICE/EA doesn't cut down on quality, like they did with BF4, they'll cut down on content and features.
I'm sceptical about that.
I'm a huge Battlefront-fan. I and my brothers sank countless of hours playing the 1st and the 2nd on the Playstaion 2.
Being also an old-school Battlefield-fan, I always dreamed of DICE taking on Battlefront.
Today, I'd say I'm cautious. DICE can boost as much as they want, but that doesn't make me forget all the f&%$-ups they and EA produced over the last couple of years.
From a technical perspective only the lighting and several effects have changed. Texture- and geometry-detail is the same. View distance has been improved (less fog).
That being said, the overall style and optical impression is quite different, particularly due to the lighting. Personally I like the darker style better - but here it really come down to preference.
Assets, effects and time have been moved and changed a great deal.
The only...
I don't really know, but I heard the last few % are in the hands of Hirohide Sugiura and/or Tetsuya Takahashi, the founders of Monolith Soft. If that is the case, they are best left were they are.
Edit:
Says it in the article. Don't mind what I said.
Sorry, but this is absolute BS.
I usually am an OV fanatic, but the original Xenoblade offers in fact one of the best damn fine English voice-overs ever to grace the industry.
In this case I preferred it to the Japanese voice-over.
Evidently this is subjective, but the English-dub performed by talented British actors was just brilliant and for me one of the highlights of the entire game.
I sincerely hope they go again with an...
Putting it in relation reveals how petty and immature these complaints are.
I get why people are not 100% behind the art-syle of the character faces, but they are definitely not THAT bad.
Seriously, seeing how people manage to be blind towards anything else a game has to offer, but pick the utmost trivial thing just to make a big fuss about, just shows the state the modern gaming community really is in.
Frankly, I couldn't be more disgust...
Can't freaking wait for this!
Hopefully they'll announce a US/EU release date soon.
Yes
Finally! Can't wait!
Looks pretty crazy.
Looking forward to see more.
Evidently.
Niche productions and genres get increasingly cannibalized by marketable mainstream productions (see hollywood).
Paired with the increasing stultification of the average gamer, who is satisfied with the mediocrity he gets dished-up, the gaming industry is on a downwards spiral in terms of quality/sophisticated games.
Fortunately there are still developers and publishers left that value their product higher than their profit margin,...
Above all I hope they announce a release date for Xenoblade X for the west.
I think the only thing pathetic here are your desperate attempts in trolling and hating...
Same here.
Zelda is nice an all, but this years highlight regardless was Xenoblade Chronicles X for me.
Anyone remember when Ocarina of Time got delayed?
The difference between the shown prototype and the final game was night and day.
Well said.
My thoughts exactly.
In case anyone wonders, the original Xenoblade scored '9/9/9/9' by famitsu in 2010.
But without any comments from the reviewer(s), a review score offers fairly little insight. So be careful when drawing any conclusions.
