Far Cry 5 came out almost a month before God of War. I'm sure there are a lot of people who played Far Cry 5 first.
@Scatpants
I already said in my previous comment I am lazy so yes, you are right.
@Razzer
I understand some of the things I said may not be such big deal and I know you can buy a pre-built PC. Pre-built, as far as I know, are usually more expensive but you still need to know the difference between all the internal component, there are so many options that I can not be bothered to put in the time to figure out the best options for me.
...
Probably still cheaper to buy the games from Amazon.
One example Persona 5 25% off £41.24 PS Store UK. Amazon UK £34.85
PS store EU € 52.49. Amazon.de € 36.95
Console sales are usually pathetic.
I will not force myself to play a game for achievements. If I'm enjoying the game I will try to get them, sometimes going out of my way to specifically get them but I will not if I don't like the game or even just get bored of it. (Far Cry 5 for example)
"The notion that we must play the games we buy is a flawed one, especially with games bought digitally on Steam or almost any digital storefront"
What is this bullshit. Of course you should Play a game if you bought it. Even if it is just for a short time before you figure out it is terrible. Don't buy shit you wont' play.
I've always wanted to get into PC gaming and I agree with all your reasons why it's better. I have just never taken the leap. It is complicated. I have to research all the different part, what the difference is, what is the best, the cheapest and best value. Do I want to a high end machine at $2000 or something more conservative.
I can't seem to justify the cost when a Xbox one X is $500 and it is the most expensive console, an PS4 or Xbox One S would be much cheape...
Got any more of that Jet!
I'm more of a Jet junkie
If you don't have the internet or good enough internet to game, don't buy the game. It's pointless. I live in a rural area with less than 1000 population and I can still get internet over 100MBPS. I know it's not super fast but it's more than enough for online gaming. Although I do live in a first world country so it's kind of expected.
I also got it, played it for a few hours and got distracted by something newer and shinier.
I didn't even know at that time it was an Xbox exclusive, it didn't grip me very well and I never went back to it.
Can't wait for this game
Several of these games have been on GWG, Slime Rancher and Super Mega Baseball 2. Others are on Gamepass. There is an Anime sale going on with up to 75% off. Fifa 18 at just 15quid, although I'll wait until it's in the EA Access Vault and get it for free.
I think this year has been pretty lackluster so far except for Yakuza 6. At least it's the only good game that I have played except for Far Cry 5 but that's not so good actually. I have yet to play God of War so that'll probably make my list too but the best games will come out later this year. Yakuza Kiwami 2, Spiderman, Red Dead Redemption 2, Forza Horizon 4 and Battlefield V
@Mr_Wilson
The 2 360 games don't overlap, at least not according to the dates given in this article and they only stay for 15 days
The best GWG game I ever got was Slime Rancher, that game is great. So addictive. I can't think of any other GWG game or even a PS+ game that I played for more than a couple of hours other than Trials Fusion for GWG a while ago.
If I could buy Yakuza on Xbox I would but oh well PS4 it is then.
I played both with english and never really considered playing with original japanese. Played Yakuza and Final Fantasy XV with japanese and I think it is better. I'll be playing this with Japanese this time too.
I finished it before the DLC came out and I bought the Gold edition and can't bring myself to go back. I will at some point but there are so many other games I have in my backlog, only getting to Forza Horizon 3 now.
Not a great month
Yakuza 6 is great, can't wait for Kiwami 2!
EA access is a good deal, it's really cheap, like $20 for a year and you get access to a whole bunch of games like Mass Effect: Andromeda (I know, not great), all dead space games, skate 3, battlefield 4, battlefield 1, older FIFA, NHL etc games. You get trials for the new games, get a discount, get access a week early.
I really like EA access, I get my money's worth easily.
