90% of my gaming time is spent on MP games. Most of my friends are the same if not more.
You're cherry picking there, Xbox and Playstation both had good and bad games last year and it just depends on what your personal preferences are.
I will tell you, I didn't download any PS3/Vita games, because I don't own those devices, however I also haven't downloaded any of the PS4 games since Bloodborne.
I let my Sub end in February because I don't play online on the PSN.
But I also haven't been crying on here about this news. This is just my circumstances, every one will be different.
You are absolutely right, however, it is each individuals choice whether they think the service is worth the price.
If they want to play online, they don't really have a choice, other than to play on PC. If they only pay the sub for the monthly games, and they think it's now not worth the price, that's their choice.

There are way, way more people playing GaaS multiplayer games than single player games. F2P games like Fortnite and Apex Legends are GaaS games.
The tope 3 most played games on console are Apex Legends, Fortnite and Anthem.
I got bored of Monster Hunter: World after 2 or 3 hours.

None of Microsoft's recent Exclusives have had any microtransaction in them and no paid loot boxes.
Forza motorsport 7 I think was planning to add a way to pay for their premium coins, but changed their minds, then they removed the mod loot boxes that you could only buy with in game currency, completely.
Forza Hoirzon 4, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3 have zero micro transactions.
For me it's simply that I don't like zombie games, every zombie game I've played, I didn't like.

I will get this but I'm not pre ordering it until a week before because Playstation takes your money immediately and if you change your mind it's not easy to get a refund.
At least Xbox only takes your money 10 days before release.
