One of the things I like about Game Pass is it let's me try out games that I normally wouldn't buy. I may love it or I may dislike it.
Happened with Rise of the Tomb Raider. I played it for a few hours, didn't like it. Now I can try a different game that I may enjoy more. If I had payed $60 or even $30 for Tomb Raider I would have regretted that purchase.
Ori, Ryse and Quantum Break are not on Gamepass. All Gears, Halo 5 and Halo wars are on there.

It seems strange that the policy is different in UK. Must be an EU consumer protection law or something, I don't know.
I think this is somehow related to the MS points they use to use, they might have said you can't use them anymore.

I love all the Forza games. ReCore Definitive Edition was actually fun. I stopped playing sunset overdrive after a few hours because something new came along. Never played Ori, Gears, Halo, Ryse or Quantum Break. Will have to give them a blast at some point.

I played 6 and there is really no story spoilers or backstory necessary. And from what I understand Kiwami 2 has some improvements over 6 so it might be better to play 6 first anyway.
I'll play the HD remasters when they come out but it'll be so strange going back to the older games after playing the most advanced.
No matter what Microsoft do, as long as Sony make a good console and continue the way they are, Xbox will never beat Playstation.
The only thing they (MS) can hope for is to do better than the Xbox One. They have done a lot of things recently that is winning back confidence from most people but unless they can get the games on point, they will be in a similar situation as this gen.
You can buy the games from Gamepass if you really want it and you get a discount too. Seems to be like this:
if the game was added within 30 days = 0% off; after 30 days = 10% off; after 90 days = 20% off.

With Playstation's history, for most people, video games are Playstation. No matter what MS do, Playstation will sell more than them, as long as they don't royally screw up.
A good Playstation will always beat a good Xbox in sales.
And I prefer my Xbox but I am not blind to the reality of the situation.
If the higher end machine is out in 2020 and costs less than £500, I'll buy it. I bought an Xbox One X in October last year and a PS4 Pro in March this year. Very happy with my One X
