Great games. I started with Kiwami. I think it is the logical starting place as it is the original story. Then I played 0, the 6, I just couldn't wait for Kiwami 2 and at that time they hadn't announce the HD remasters of 3, 4 and 5.
I would recommend this series to everyone, it is great and now my favourite games of all time. I only discovered it after buying a PS4 and seeing it in the PS store and then checking it out. I lived in Japan for a short time so I love h...
I get what you're saying, I was just pointing out the disingenuous statement from the Author. He also states
"Sony’s insistence on not supporting it to Microsoft and Nintendo promoting it even more."
Sony does support it. So his statement here is also untrue.
It would be better to say "Sony’s insistence on not supporting it with other consoles, to Microsoft and Nintendo promoting it even more."
"you’ll need to partake in real-time combat with a party of characters"
So it's not turn based combat?
"....Fortnite, which can be crossplayed between PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and your mobile device, all but the PS4."
As far as I understood, this statement is not quite true. Cross-play between PS4, PC and mobile exists too, right?
State of Decay 2 is from a small budget developer, basically a AA game. Detroit is a AAA game from a well established developer.
Here we see data representing the global sales through to consumers and change in sales performance of the FOUR HOME CONSOLES and FOUR HANDHELDS over comparable periods for 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
First paragraph in the article is wrong, can't trust the rest of the article.
I'm sure the data is pretty close but making mistakes as simple as that does not bode well for the professionalism of the writers.
And another thing I wa...
Thanks for the hint, I will pass on this article
@AKS
LOL. It's ridiculous some of the things people disagree with on this sit. Like someone saying they are excited about a game. Nothing else, like do they disagree that the person is excited, that they think they are lying or something.
@Razzer
I think what I will end up doing is building a PC instead of buy the next generation of consoles, at least in the beginning. Depending on what exclusives there are I may buy a Playstation. But the other problem is all my friends play on Xbox and I'd like to play the likes of Battlefield with them. I hope PC and Xbox can get cross-play next generation for the bigger AAA games like that
@Razzer I checked out the link you sent. unfortunately I don't live in the US and I couldn't find that particular model in the UK site.
You may know this is a PC but how would a newbie know the difference between a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz [3.6GHz Turbo] Six-Core 16MB L3 Cache 95W Processor and a AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6GHz [4.25GHz Turbo] Six-Core 19MB Cache 95W Processor.
And that's just one of many, many options for PC gaming. That takes a lot ...
It seems to me that physical is still much more popular than digital except on PC.
I buy most of my games digitally, for convenience like you say but sometimes when the difference is price is $25-$30, I'd much prefer to save the money than be worried about keeping my cases neat.
Physical won't be eliminated at least not for the next 10 years in my opinion.
You can still buy DVDs, you can still buy music in CD form. Physical is not going anywhere anytime soon.
I am not just talking about the PS store, the Xbox store is the same, their sales are usually still more expensive than buying from Amazon.
@Apocalypse Shadow
You make some good points.
Licensed Football? I assume you're talking about NFL. I couldn't care less. Soccer, as far as I know there is FIFA but there is also PES. Not that I care much about those either. I play FIFA when it is in the EA Access Vault.
Burnout Paradise was great, a new one would be great. I don't like Need for Speed much so that's a good point.
Last Boxing game I pl...
@Apocalypse Shadow
I really don't understand what you mean. I get the carrot bit but what is the cage and slaughter referring to in this metaphor?
I think Origins was better
Did you play it on PC?
I bet it looked incredible on PC with max settings.
The Xbox One X version was really great
We don't know that. Let's wait until we get the details before making a judgement.
I don't think EA is as bad as they are made out to be but they do need to be held accountable for bad decisions like the Battlefront 2 fiasco or Titanfall not having a campaign etc.
They publish some great games, also some pretty terrible one. Battlefield has always been great. EA access is a really good deal in my opinion.
"Many of EA’s games consist of many micro transactions to be able to advance in the game or you will have to play many many ...
