8k was never going to happen for games this gen. Very few people own 8k televisions anyway.

FallenAngel1984 don't be a dope. This isn't about "preservation " Sony isn't destroying these games out of existence. This is about access, and it doesn't seem like most people have genuine interest in this back catalog to make it worthwhile.
Microsoft can keep playing this phony good guy game they've been playing leading up to this current gen, it ain't helping them one bit.
I have a ps3, ps2, ps1, psp, and I have not played or thought about playing a game from these consoles in several years ( until I tried the first God of War on psnow, which looked terrible). I just don't have an interest so why should I fake outrage. I'm not alone in thinking this, it safe to say that if all this phony outrage was genuine and millions of gamers were still buying games on these store fronts then Sony wouldn't be shutting them down. It's just more fake Microsoft...

I know I sound greedy but Days Gone is already part of the collection that comes with ps+, it's redundant.

Recently subscribed to psnow to try some older games. Can't do it, what I tried looked terrible if I'm being honest. I just don't go back that far to play games I use to like ( apart from an nes and snes emulator I run on my psp).

@TheHan Microsoft continued obsession with controlling gaming and unlimited funds allows them to waste money on doomed efforts like this becuase its a drop in the bucket. If you think Microsoft is consumer friendly you need to look into their history.
