It's a major problem, look at Resident Evil 8. They've effectively taught xbox gamers to not buy games.

"Overly ambitious " with Craig? Lol 😆🤣

This "is it worth $70" campaign is just an extension of the console wars as it is purely focused on Sony games, while others price their games at the same price.

What a stupid article. Does this dope know that people are finishing this game?

Can't afford it dint buy it.

Remember folks for 2 years good guy Phil and the press told us they are not competing with Sony .

@Superman63 do you know what numbers Microsoft groups in with their "gaming" revenue to make it seem more successful than it really is?

1868d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

@Superman63 don't group Sony and Microsoft together in this regard. Sony shows actual numbers even when they weren't the best, Microsoft is full of it and will never be completely honest about how the xbox division is doing because they don't have to.

@Zeref only to the most delusional xbox fans. Saying you're having "record" anything is entirely meaningless without numbers to provide context. We know why Microsoft is doing this because they are trying to present false impression of success. Microsoft does this becuase they look at the xbox division as their little side project.

1868d ago 9 agree5 disagreeView comment

Where are the numbers? hahaha"Record engagement " this phraseology embarrassing should be embarrassing for all but the most diehard xbox fans. Lol

1868d ago 11 agree9 disagreeView comment

Just ignore rake, xbox fans no longer buy games, no longer play games. They spend all their time whining about Sony hoping that they to will run playstation in the red and start giving their excellent 1st party games away for free.

YouTube makes money as they don't pay for the content just share in the revenue from advertising etc. Netflix worked because they were the only game in town and could grow their user base unchallenged. Microsoft will not have that luxury as there are too many platform options available to gamers with exclusive content of their own.

1870d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

@Jin games cost money to make, if you dont want to pay then don't expect high quality big budget games forever.

1870d ago 9 agree1 disagreeView comment

@Ben, 23 studios and still no games.

Gamepass is a loss leader, you think running that service is cheap? That's the Netflix business model, lose billions of dollars upfront to grow the customer base then you slowly raise the price down the line. I think it's a dumb idea and hope nobody else follows suit. Microsoft has trained a large section of the fanbase to not pay for games development.

@Asuka, appalled? Hahaha. You're getting worked up about something that may or may not happen 10-20 years into the future. Stop allowing these phony hit pieces tell you what is and isn't important.
