@ King, b.s, Microsoft has always been heavy handed and tacky with their online media campaign.
Playstation is not "done" in Japan, thats ridiculous. Nintendo may be top dog, but there remains a considerable fanbase of Playstation fans in Japan.
What narrative? They have no games and will continue to not have any for quite sometime. Lol
Still no games. Makes sense, their fans ain't buying games generally speaking so why make quality ones.
Another below average conference from Microsoft. I'm starting to think they're not lying when they hype up their conference year after year, they really think what they got is exciting. Starfield? With the big deal made about it ("25 years in the making") very underwhelming. With a big bloated soulless company like Microsoft running xbox its no wonder they remain clueless. Remember the 360 days when they first showed gears, thats what xbox needs to get back to maybe bring ba...
Manage your expectations, Microsoft are the kings of underperforming
Tv, tv, TV! Maybe Matricks was correct all along...
CGI trailer? No thanks.
Games are what counts
The Last of us 2 was the best non-vr game I played last generation by far. Such quality workmanship that even if you hate it it should be admired.
The fact that we're getting a gow sequel 1.5 years into this new console generation is still amazing.
Stupid thing is, you almost never get blockbuster games like gow or hfw in the first year and a half of a consoles launch. These games are arriving real early.
I dont like cross platform development as a ps5 owner, I want new games exclusive to the hardware. But my dislike must be tempered in the reality that I haven't even seen the game yet. It's possible and even likely that gow will look stunning.
People want to see new games that feel next gen for their new consoles. It's tough to be excited for old games that you've already played or decided not to that simply look and run better. Microsoft seems 2b the only company that doesn't get this.
Sorry to hear that outsider.
Stadia is in the icu on life support. Google is almost ready to pull the plug.
Looking at the response to games like the new ratchet demonstrates that we buy new consoles to play new games. People want to be shown what next gen is capable of. As much as I loved GoW with smoother framerates in higher fidelity, I've played that game before. Give me something new that shows off my new toys capabilities.
Truth is nobody cares. Public interest just isn't there, view count was low for the Microsoft event. Xbox still trying to make it happen. Lol
