Halo 4. The whole "Crimson Map Pack" being "free" and then later "a 14 day trial." Then the specialization codes - they were sent, they weren't sent, some regions don't get them etc. (Hint - don't hold parts of your game back from the community... it has zero potential benefit for you.)
Just a piss poor PR job from 343i. Game is decent, PR could have been much much better.
I don't know if it's in the article (I don't give examiner hits any more...) but Episode 1 of TWD is free on XBL. It was free on PSN a while ago, but not sure if it still is.

Reviews are biased towards the reviewers. If I'm an RPG guy, and I love grinding games, I'm probably going to rate Ragnarok Odyssey pretty high.
I'm I'm an action oriented "in your face" lover, then I'm probably going to shy away from this type of game.
I like to try games before buying them in most cases to kinda "review" it for myself.

Bioware had the DLC finished before going gold, and still charged people for it.
Gearbox finished the DLC **after** BL2 went gold - and included it free for those who pre-ordered the game.

Did you even play the game "Junior Smart"? To equate Borderlands to CoD or Battlefield is ridiculous at best, and supremely idiotic as it stands. Both of those games give you ~30 weapons... Borderlands gives you 30 weapons on the first level alone.
To state that BL is "just" an FPS, and not mention anything about the RPG elements...

Yes, I like Halo, but I also play other games as well. It's funny, when I have a Kratos or Nathan Drake avatar, I don't get shit, but as soon as I put up Master Chief, I lose 2 bubbles and everyone blindly disagrees.
I played the demo on PS3 and on Vita. I didn't enjoy the experience on Vita - the graphics are crap compared to other Vita games - it looks and feels like a port of a PS2 ga...
Excellent review for a seemingly mediocre game.
I'll pick it up eventually, but won't pay anything close to full price.
For Vita? Compared to what? Compared to 'nothing' yeah, it works. Compared to what it could have been, it falls way short.
Outdated graphics, sketchy touch controls, and the announcing is some of the worst I've heard for the franchise.

If you own the retail copies, then either sell them or trade them... you'll more than make the $50 PS+ cost back if you own every free game so far...
